H&R Block

This was our first time getting our taxes done by a professional, and we could not have had a better experience. Our tax preparer was Chris K. at the king of Prussia location, and we are simply blown away by the amazing service we received. Our tax situation was not a simple one, but Chris took her time and appeared truly invested in getting us the best possible outcome. Chris was receptive to our questions and overblown freakouts, and was very kind and thorough in making sure we not only got our taxes done correctly, but also that we understood every step it took to get there. We are extremely grateful to the Chris for the great service, as well as the added value of her personal finance knowledge and her willingness to provide us with free education :) we have already made our appointment with Chris for next year, and we feel very confident in recommending her services!

This is the second time we’ve done our taxes here. Our accountant was very helpful. We had made an appointment online and didn’t have to wait at all.

The only reason my hubby and I went there this year was it was the first time we had to file together and we wanted to talk to somebody.
First of all we waited 40 minutes to be seen by our consultant. The office’s front desk gal called out sick but when we entered a guy checked us in and said he would tell our consultant we where there. Now, I don’t know if he didn’t tell her or what but its extremely frustrating to have a big chunk of our Saturday afternoon taken up to wait on somebody. Our time is important too.
My hubby had his W2 and a couple documents electronically and he asked our consultant if he could e-​mail them her… She didn’t get it after the first couple times of asking but she eventually got what he meant.
She asked the same questions as Turbo Tax would ask so until our taxes get complicated we won’t be using a service like H & R Block.
We waited longer than it took her to actually file. I felt it was a waste of $ 195 but I guess you pay for piece-​of-​mind,
