Let me say that I like military surplus stores, and have visited them ever since I was a Boy Scout. I kinda miss Ark Surplus from the Mount Clemens /Harrison Township area of days gone past.
But this isn’t a review of my fond memories.
Located just east of Wadhams Road and across the street from the Port Huron KoA, they have an assortment of items to equip the outdoors type people and activities. Nothing against the KoA store, but you will probably find quite a few deals on the same things here at M & R. They also have a larger bundle of fire wood for a cheaper price.
Military surplus uniforms, field jackets, mickey mouse boots, sleeping bags, cots, entrenching tools, assorted web belts, machetes, mosquito netting, rope and para-cord, etc.
Some food, many cleaning supplies, some assorted camper parts … this store has quite an assortment
Also, check out their rustic beds and assorted furniture in the back of the store, as well as hunting and camping tents.
