History

Established in 1995.

It started as one man’s passion for Harley-​Davidson. James Whitaker had the dream to work at the oldest dealership in the world. He worked under Tom Perkins at Dudley Perkins in San Francisco, California. Upon realizing that this was his dream, he went to MMI for Harley-​Davidson and began the road to opening his own shop. From 1995 to May of 2013 Whitaker offered a mobile Harley repair service. In May, Whitaker took on a partner who was a young experienced metal fabricator that also had the same passion for motorcycles that he had himself. This partner’s name is Brandon Bordelon. As soon as Bordelon was taken on, both men began work on finding a retail location. Along with doing this, Bordelon spent most of his free time finding companies that would agree to become vendors and advertising. The business can now get and/​or make almost any conceivable part for motorcycles, not to mention custom build almost any bike a customer could want.

Business Owner

I am a retired veteran of the United States Army. I have been a motorcycle mechanic since 1995 and am an MMI graduate with honors. Every bike that I’ve own, excluding one, has been my own build. My passion is custom builds and antique bike restoration. I am a certified welder and have built my own custom parts.
