These guys are great! They broke down prices with me showed me everything that they were doing step by step. They even stayed late to finish my truck. Doesn’t get any better than these guys and gals!

For my windshield replaced here. Amazing customer service! I was greeted warmly and made to feel comfortable. Their office is clean and inviting. I recommend this place

Really annoyed at this place… got it towed there and ran a diagnostic for $ 150…then told me what’s wrong and it will be an additional $ 600…for a new starter… r u crazy? Got the starter at auto zone for $ 130 and had a friend help… so I gave them a free $ 150 for nothing… super upset, then they kinda told me good luck as I pushed my car off their lot… no help or discount… They kept the $ 150 like they need to get paid for nothing… Stay away, better places in Killeen!

Clean place, all the staff was courteous and polite, if you’re waiting the mechanic comes out periodically to let you know how the work is going. Giancarlo was awesome and takes great care of customers. They have very high prices, and unfortunately my car is still having issues. I went in to have my brakes bled, my brakes are still spongy and the cost in doing so was $ 300. They did welcome me to come back if I’m not satisfied, but unfortunately I live out of town and don’t have the time.

Stopped in for an oil change. I like supporting locally-​owned businesses, but unfortunately, Mayo charges too much. For my vehicle that requires 6 quarts, the price was nearly $ 40. The price with a tire rotation came to $ 65. Yikes. I should have asked what the price would be beforehand so, my mistake. We’ll probably be going back to NTB next time. They’re upfront about their pricing, and offer free tire rotation with an oil change.

Had a huge problem with my 2006 Dodge Stratus. Timing belt broke on the road, we didn’t know what the problem was immediately so we tried cranking it, throwing the timing off. Double overhead camshaft. .. yeah.
Luckily, it wasn’t an interferance engine, which the manual says it is, which is what the master tech told me, I told him about the research I’d done and the YouTube videos, which he went out and verified for himself.
Brought it in, they went to work on it, even going so far as to ask me about changing the water pump, which I declined. He then explained that once he had it all put back together, there was a leak from a seal BEHIND the timing belt, so he took it ALL back apart to change it, free of charge.
The only reason this isn’t a 5 star review is because they said I could pick it up on Monday and it really wasn’t ready until Wednesday.
But it was a great experience.

Went in to get an inspection for my vehicles. Professional yet laid back crew. Im in and out fast, plus I save tons of money on the papers. Its nice to relax in their lounge and enjoy the atmosphere.

Horrible. They over charge and broke a part so that I would have to come back in and spend more. Terrible customer service. Don’t waste your money here.

It’s always nice to deal with a family run local business. Shop is clean, rates are for considering they do such a good job. My wife and I recently bought a car from them and the experience was great.

I love how they blast country music! But it’s only in their garage :(. The receptionist was a tad rude though and slightly seemed that «I’m better than anyone» vibe. Other than that my truck is great!

good service, mechanics, and prices

I am relatively new to Killeen. Finding a legitimate mechanic is one of the hardest parts of moving around. I was very skeptical of having work done to my vehicle. Let’s face it, mechanics have earned their reputation for being shady. That coupled with Killeen being a military town and I was sure the odds were against me.
I chose Mayo exclusively based on the reviews they have here on Unilocal.I couldn’t be happier for my choice.
They did the work I requested. They never tried to convince me that I needed additional unnecessary parts or services. They got the work done fast. I dropped my car off and they called me to pick it up three hours later. They also completed the work for $ 30 less than they initially quoted me.
I have never dealt with friendlier people. They got me in, got me fixed up, and got me out. As long as I live in Killeen, these guys have my business.
I rarely give anything Five Stars on Unilocal.I wish I could give these guys Six!

They are the best. I was worried today but they are a blessing. They fixed my car and help me out. If you ever need work done on your vehicles take it to mayo.

Service was wonderful. They did what had to be done so that even with the tons of customers they have, they didn’t screw over people waiting and stuff like that. Friendly and great experience for my first ever oil change. Prices are reasonable as well.
They noticed that my tires was low on air and they did it without me asking. And when i asked for a tire rotation, insead of taking my money, they came back and said my tires should be good for another 2000 miles or so and asked if i still want it now. That made me give them a 5 star rating!
I will surely return for my next car services and problems!

After dropping my car off at firestone 9÷20÷13 for a 12:00 for an oil change and at 5:30 my car had not been touched after calling at 4:30 for them to tell me my car was next to be in the bay. Needless to say I took my car elsewhere, Mays took care of me the very next day zero wait. I called before going in, nice relax atmosphere and willing to work with customers. Honest and friendly. I will be returning.

I went in for a oil change and came out with a 110.00 bill … very high and pricey…

Everyone there was very helpful. We dropped our car off and one of the guys drove us home. Reasonably priced as well. I definitely recommend them.
