The food was excellent. Got out to me fairly quickly and was really fresh. This is a styrofoam plate establishment, and I respect that. Order and pay at the counter, then they bring the food out to you. I assume they have like 5 grandma’s working in the kitchen back there, the food was that good. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

Had the oyster po-​boy and fries. The oysters were huge, the bread was nice and soft and the veggies were fresh. Really good! Fast, friendly service and fair prices. The place could use a bit more «atmosphere» but it was fine for a quick lunch. Will definitely go back and try other menu items.

I ordered the chicken po boy and it literally was 2 large, juicy chicken legs as part of the sandwich. I was dying of laughter, I’ve never seen that before. But that was some excellent chicken. Everything was made fresh. My friend introduced me to this place. I had never seen it previously.

Ate here for the first time today. It did not disappoint. Gumbo was AMAZING. This is definitely my go to for gumbo for now on!

The shrimp po boy was delicious! The shrimp were fat and seasoned perfectly. The french fries were seasoned well too. The portion size is great for the price. Oh and the deep fried oreos, off the chain! The owners were very nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

The food was seasoned to perfection. I got the combo, shrimp, cat fish, oysters. I’m here TDY and I’m pissed that I only have one more day to eat here. This has got to be some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. I’ve had po boys and seafood before but this place is on a different level when it comes to flavor, price, portions and CUSTOMER SERVICE! Top notch. I will be back most definitely in two weeks when I’m TDY AGAIN! Thanks for the experience, time to take a nap, that ittus is kickin in.

Seems like they are starting to take shortcuts to save time/​money. Shrimp doesn’t seem as fresh and large as they were 6 months ago. It’s still pretty good, just not as amazing as it used to be.

I haven’t tried out the whole menu just yet! Always end up getting a catfish poboy because they are so well made. From the seasoning of the fish to the fresh soft bread. I’ll plan on gong back to KJ’s soon!

I wanted to see how good their Gumbo was but apparently it’s only served on Friday and Saturday. I was pretty disappointed since I was too busy to make a trip to Razzoo’s. This would have been my first time trying Gumbo but unfortunately I ended up founding my first experience at Razzoo’s instead. Customer service was… service.

It’s has that local neighborhood feeling when you go in. The owners are really welcoming. The shop and restrooms were clean. I’m from Houma La. So I grew up eating Po-​Boys. My favorite was the catfish Po Boy. So that’s what I ordered and they did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and made to order. The bread was really good. The catfish was fried to perfection! Thank You K Js! I will be back and spreading the word.

I’ve eaten here twice in the last. 2 weeks and I had the combo plate with catfish, shrimp and oysters. The food was season great and was absolutely delicious. I also had the hotlink poboy and it was an authentic Louisiana poboy. Definitely go check this place out!

I just came to this place for the first time! I’m stuffed and waiting the itus to set in. It’s good food ! I definitely will be back and the prices are good! Anybody knows Louisiana cuisine isn’t cheap and I feel the price was just right!

I guess i was spoiled going to Louisiana a lot. The wife and i got shrimp po boys with fries. The taste good for both but you get child’s size amount of fries and not much shrimp.
