I always find just a few things here. I don’t like how most of the things here are just items they got on wholesale. I don’t see it as a legitimate thrift store. The line is always kind of long.

First time here and my Last… I’m always going to Goodwill in every state I visit… my daughters always come with me and the first thing we saw was a Rat… which obviously I can understand… but I’ve been to Goodwills that have been top notch with awesome prices… and that’s the second problem… the clothes they sell here are WAAAYY over priced… I saw shirts that went as far as $ 10…used…old…just because of the brand… the next thing is that when we come to goodwill… I let my girls pick out things they want… and my daughter… who is mature for her 10 years btw was looking at something and was told by one of the girls that if she wasn’t going to buy it then not to touch it… and this was before she even picked it up… then the same girl goes outside to bring stuff in and she’s on a plastic tricycle that was being sold… riding it thru the store… practice what u preach… yup…another lost customer to this particular store…

I’ve always loved Goodwill, and have furnished much of my house with Goodwill items that I fixed up. So when I moved here, I headed to Goodwill. I was very confused to find a small store filled with mostly new items at new prices(not overstock prices at a discount, like I’ve found in other Goodwills). The front of the store is filled with glass cases, and you can’t buy what’s in them; they do auctions on Saturdays. I asked a manager what the color of the week was(Goodwill does 50% of certain color tags every week) and she said«We don’t do that here. This Goodwill and all the others in this region are franchises.» A franchise charity? How is that even possible? I looked around, thinking maybe I could find something, but even the used items were overpriced… and they sell new $ 300 chandeliers. Who goes to Goodwill for chandelier shopping? This place isn’t for people who don’t have a lot of money, it’s for hipsters who think they can duplicate Pinterest projects.

I didn’t find anything useful for me, but they did have a lot of new items and military items. The whole store did smell like an old attic.
