My car died and after being told it would cost some ridiculous amount at the dealer to fix the starter, I took to Unilocal!
Derrick was patient (it took a week for the part to come in) and affordable (% of the dealer’s price). I was extremely grateful that not only was he thorough but fast and very helpful. I will definitely use his services again and I’ll make it a point to recommend him to others!
My car is back in great shape thanks to Derrick!

Derrick is an absolute life saver! I know zip about cars and my car was making this horrible grinding sound when I hit the brakes. I took it to one of those big name places and they wanted $ 518 to replace my brake pads and rotors. I saw the great reviews for Derrick on here so I gave him a call. He checked my brakes out for me and quoted me $ 160 if I get the parts. I explained I was a little short on cash so close to Christmas and he told he do it for $ 100. Derrick had to fight with my rotors because they were rusted to the emergency brake. But he didn’t complain or change his price. Derrick has gained a customer for life! He’s honest and knows his business!

Honest man helped me on a Sunday when he usually doesn’t work Sunday I took my car to mienike they quoted me $ 800 telling me all 4 of my brake pads and rotors need replacing and my car only had 2weeks max left w/​the brakes so I called him up asked if I could supply my own parts he said yes come to find out I only needed pads absolutely nothing wrong with my back rotors just goes to show you how shops are not honest and only care about paying their bills as if us the customer dont have bills I will forever go back to derick just as long as I am here in killeen thanks so much !!!

We purchased a used Mazda Miata and it was running a little rough. He came out to our house and inspected everything. Seemed very knowledgeable. Did oil change, oil filter, pcv, air filter. Also gave us some tips on what the car would need next. I liked that he let us use parts we purchased ourselves. Friendly service.

Ended up talking to him twice, good guy.
Was honest that my repair was more than he wanted to tackle, which I find shows character worth more than anything else.
Informed me as to why he didn’t feel comfortable with the job, he wouldn’t be able to guarantee the work as my car is known to be problematic.
Then he recommended a shop he trusts that would do it, even giving me an idea of the cost.
Again, character. Now I believe I’d go with Derrick even if he wasn’t the cheapest. Good people.
And BTW, thanks dude.
