Natural Nails

We have been here multiple times over the years and each time receive a sub par experience. Most recently we called and made appointments but still had to wait at least 15 minutes each.
Additionally the gel colors do not match up with the color samples given so please be weary.
One bright side is that they use pedicure bed liners which makes it cleaner and nicer

Save your money. I took the trouble to call and make an appointment, no one seemed to remember or notice. I got the worst service ever, and it took almost 90 min for a basic mani/​pedi — that looked horrible. Filing was awful, almost zero cuticle and nail trimming, terrible paint job, wrecked before I even left. Most ratchet mani I’ve ever gotten. I had to ask no less than 4 times to fix mani, and then another lady came over and did a marginal job. Trust me, don’t waste your time or money. I’m annoyed that I even paid $ 40 for the service. Just awful.

I love this salon. I regularly come here because it is the best salon on the OBX. The new chairs are amazing! The owners are so friendly and remember everyone. Very welcoming atmosphere.

My daughter and I both came in closing time and they did a pedicure and manicure. Turned out great

Definitely would not recommend this nail salon while in obx. I came here as part of my Bachelorette with seven other girls. I stayed at the salon for over two hours for a mani and pedi that didn’t even turn out nice. The guy doing my nails was so rough that he cut me twice and left me bleeding around my nails which seeped into the nail Polish (I wanted French tip with grey glittery polish) so of course you could see the red in the Polish. I told the guy what I wanted and even showed a picture, but he didn’t understand what I was saying. In fact, I don’t think he spoke much English case he kept saying yes, but didn’t do what I requested. I don’t care if you can’t speak english, but please know what you are doing. We got to the salon at 5pm and I didn’t leave until 730… That is ridiculous. I left paying for crap nails and I will never be going back. To be honest, they didn’t even open up a new clean set of nail supplies in front of me. I’ll have to make sure my cuts aren’t infected cause right now they are swollen and red. DON’T GO HERE!

Just 24 hours later, the «halfway decent» manicure I got started chipping and peeling. Unbelievable. I’m going to try to get my money back. This was a birthday mani-​pedi and was absolutely terrible. I’m downgrading them to one star. Find somewhere else to go if you’re on vacation in the OBX! Pay the money for a REAL mani-​pedi somewhere else. When you find a good one, let me know!

Nice shop, can fit several people in a group at once and has good hours. Mani/​pedi was great, though they were a bit pushy trying to offer other services and up-​sell me on the ones I did get. Other than that, no real complaints.

Natural Nails is now under new management and is still the best place to have your nails done on the OBX! They have plenty of colors to choose from and the staff is super nice! They always take their time to make sure my nails look great!

My daughter and I decided to get a Mani Pedi at the last minute and we were probably the last customers but they did a great job, didn’t rush us, and they didn’t act like we were what was keeping them from getting home to their families on the night after Thanksgiving. We were very pleased with the outcome and highly recommend Natural Nails II

Awful. Renamed Le Nails. Butchered both my finger cuticles and me friends toe cuticles. My gel manicure was chipping by day two, which I’ve never had happen. She did more tweezing than waxing on my bikini wax. Looks run down inside. And it was empty. I came here bc it had the most best reviews, but I should have turned around when I saw it was empty on a Saturday.

My daughter and I always get a pedicure when we are on vacation. This place was one of the best. Professional service. Great massage chairs. Got us right on. Clean atmosphere

Not sure how this place rates against other nail spots in nags head but not hood experience. Maybe I’m spoiled by my faithful spot in northern but this wasn’t a great stop for nails. Given everyone was super nice, it was quick and affordable but little things … Didn’t soak my hands for manicure so cuticles weren’t soft and hurt so bad as they were clipping and pulling, the paint job was messy and they didn’t use an undercoat so who knows how long it will last.
