We liked this beach so much the first day that we made the hike down the second day too. We walked to the East a long ways to our own private spot. This gives you a nice view back down the beach where you can see anyone coming. We only saw 8 people in 2 days, and only 2 made it down to where we were. At the end of the second day our tan lines were gone. The ocean is very rough and dangerous here. We did go swimming in the shallow area but we have spent many years going to Hawaii beaches. You have to have repect. We packed two backpacks with food and drinks for the day. OH ya, sunscreen sunscreen sunscreen.
