History

Established in 2008.

My Business started in Oregon in 2008 (as Dragon’s Dream Acupuncture), I was building the business for two years and wanted to really get some business education under my belt. We then moved to Maui Fall of 2010 and at-​first I was looking for an office, then figured I would prefer to specialize in House calls (thus the name change to Maui VIP Acupuncture). The reason being the majority of my clients not wanting to have to drive after treatment and wishing they were already home… so I thought it would be great to offer such services in the home, so my clients could enjoy the full benefits of acupuncture without having to drive right after a treatment. Thus they get to keep the «blissed-​out» feelings Acupuncture Treatments tend to impart to my clients. May the Qi be with You!

Meet the Business Owner

Jonathan D.

Business Owner

Jonathan grew up in California with a passion for learning as many subjects as possible. After graduating with a degree in Anthropology and unsure of himself, he moved back home to figure his life out. During this time a friend of the family was having Acupuncture and taking Chinese Herbs to help her deal with the Chemo and Radiation she was receiving due to having Breast Cancer. At dinner one night with this friend, Jonathan’s mother turned to him and said «that’s it, you should be an acupuncturist!» Curiosity peaked, Jonathan took a tour of Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California. It was the jar of dried seahorses in the Herb Room that was the catalyst, Jonathan just HAD to attend the school just to know what those were for! Now after four years of schooling and a few Boards later, Jonathan can call himself a Licensed Acupuncturist and enjoys treating clients for Stress, Pain Management, Menopause, Infertility, Insomnia, and other aliments that cause you discomfort.
