Great condo resort with and outstanding beach across the street Kam II. Check out unit 337 just remodeled with a roof deck. Your going to like it. Completely remodeled. 1 bedroom 1 bath great for two people.

Couldn’t have asked for a better location. The condo had all of the things you need when traveling — lots of room, ac, and quiet neighborhood. Unit 318 was recently updated and is very nicely appointed. Clean and no bugs. There is a palm tree or two that has birds living in them so hope you don’t mind waking up to them in the morning. The beach is right across the street and food is next door. Really, this is the best area for Kihei. Safeway is down the street (better prices than Foodland and the other small guys) and then there’s always Costco. Booked direct through

Pretty big bed so that 2 adults and a large 11 year old could sleep on it comfortably. There is a sofa that can also be used as a bed. The unit is very clean and tiled everywhere which is great so that you don’t have to worry about messing up someone’s rugs.
There are boogie boards in the room and there are TV’s in the living and bedroom. Air conditioning works well, Ceiling fans are great. Kitchen very functional and past guests left seasonings behind so check it out before you shop.
Right across from the beach — small street to cross. I thought I wouldn’t like that but it really wasn’t a bother at all. The beach is very nice — much nicer than I expected since I was expecting very little sand. There was just as much sand here as at the larger hotels on the Lahaina side.
Right next to a shopping center that has everything, food, clothing, convenience store, rental activities — It’s just a walk away. You can shop at the supermarket and if you have your keys with you (certain sets of keys) the key chain is a discount card — I was so happy that I got 10% off of my order.

I have stayed at Kkn 3 times while visiting maui. We have stayed in unit 240 twice. The complex is centrally located to wailea, makena and lots of great beaches! The pool is always clean and rarely crowded. We think it is an exceptional value and will continue to stay here for years to come! The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is bc the sprinklers come on around 2am each morning and are LOUD. I remember this being a problem in years past too. Overall a great place to stay and I would recommend to friends and family.

My wife and I stayed in unit 148, building 6 at Kihei Kai Nani in Kihei Maui the entire month of September, 2010. The unit is very comfortable. We enjoyed it tremendously. It is well equipped with everything needed for cooking and just enjoying your vacation. It is just across the street from Kamaole Beach II. Every morning I went out and swam with turtles at the left point. I must have swam with about 80 turtles in that month. We plan to return and rent this same unit again this year. This review is only based on unit 126 at Kihei Kai Nani. The unit was probably the worst unit in the entire complex. It was dark and had a view of a fence looking onto a construction sight. During our stay there it turned out that the interior and exterior of the building were going to be sprayed for insects. I was pretty upset by this because my 2 year old daughter was also staying in the unit and I didn’t want her to be exposed to the poison they would be spraying. I contacted the owner of the unit and she said that it only took 5 min and that the buildings were sprayed frequentlly. I contacted her again and asked about switching to another unit or vacating the premises early for a partial refund and she never replied. I will certainly not do business with her again. She could have at least responded and said that wasn’t possible. The pool was also closed for repairs part of the time we were there which was a bummer because my daughter really wanted to swim in it .
There are many nice units at Kihei Kai Nani. If you are planning to stay there just ask ahead of time if they will be spraying your building. It is convienently located across the street from the beach and with in walking distance to a healthfood store.
