I practice Classical 5 Element Acupuncture as taught by Professor J.R. Worsley. Treatment is focused on root causes of problems rather than treating symptoms. What is out of balance is sought and gently corrected with needles, moxa, diet, exercise, and other strategies we find together. I established this practice in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii in 2003.

Whether it is for traditional diagnosis, seasonal tune-​ups, acute or chronic problems, I welcome you to investigate the healing power of the 5 elements. I am also trained in the National Acupuncture Detox Association (NADA) protocol for drug withdrawal treatment and easing smoking cessation.

History

Established in 2003.

Maui 5 Element Acupuncture was founded in Maui after Aaron obtained his Hawaii Acupuncture License. Previously he was licensed in the state of Maryland. This practice has been affiliated with chiropractors Dr. Sherry Coons and Dr. Eric Wruck. Aaron now practices in conjunction with Maui Wellness group and maintains a solo office in his home.

After a 30 year career in Special Education which included founding and running a private infant through grade 6 Montessori learning center, Aaron was fortunate to be accepted to study in the last acupuncture class to work directly with Dr. J. R. Worsley, master and tradition holder of the ancient classical methods of 5 Element Acupuncture. Aaron studied in Florida, England, and Columbia, Maryland, receiving a Lic. Ac. in 1996 and a Master of Acupuncture degree in 2001, and becomming licensed in the state of Maryland. Aaron moved to Maui in 2002, and received his Hawaiian license in 2003. Aaron particularly enjoys meeting and getting to know new patients and helping transmit the healing energy of the 5 elements. He has practiced T’ai Chi since 1975 and studied Aikido and Katori Shinto Ryu from 1988 — 2001. Aaron has been a member of the Arica School since 1975.
