Specialties
Our company specializes in outdoor adventure activities. We have a chairlift that takes you to the top of our summit where you can eat lunch with a view of Mt. Rushmore just a mile across the valley. Once you have finished eating, you can take the chairlift back to the bottom or you can ride our exciting 2000 ft. long alpine slide.
At the base of our mountain, you can ride our 800 ft long zipline or take part in our aerial adventure park. In our adventure park, there are 5 different challenge courses and each are a different difficulty. Come and test your limits!
History
Established in 1965.
The chairlift was built in 1965 as a site seeing chairlift. Customers would ride to the top of the lift and walk around the gardens while viewing Mt. Rushmore just a mile across the valley.
In 1999, ownership changed hands and full restoration was completed along with the construction of a restaurant at the summit.
In 2002, an alpine slide was built as a different way to get down the hill from the summit. The slide is 2000 ft. long and is used by riding a cart with wheels and brakes to control your speed.
In 2013, an aerial adventure park and dual 800 ft. long ziplines were added to the property. The aerial park is a challenge course built up in the ponderosa pines with 5 different levels while the zipline is a traditional, gravity propelled thrill ride.
