This company is a total scam. They take your order and never come to ship your vehicle. Then they charge your credit card $ 50-​$ 100 for cancelling even though the never show up and never planned to. The companys good reviews are bogus, probably done by their employees. Please please heed my warning. I’ll keep posting every week till the Better Buisness shuts them down. Robert, Howell NJ.

RUNNNNNNNN! This place is a COMPLETE SCAM. They are liars and don’t care about customer service or making things right with customers. They also claim to be #1, which is not a claim they are allowed to make. I had to cancel an order and like everyone already said, they charged my $ 50 even when they confirmed BEFORE and AFTER I placed the order that there were no cancellation fees.
They low-​ball you on their shipping costs just to reel you in. DON’T do it! Veronica E’s review is a complete FAKE and huge lie.

I would highly suggest that no one ever use this company. Not only are they misleading with there shipping quotes, but the people working for this company are as rude as it gets. The customer service representative for this company verbally assaulted me with brutal profanity and hung up on me numerous times. Not only that, the company then proceeded to charge my credit card for the deposit when I did not even sign one document. This kind of behavior from any company is unacceptable. Steer clear from this company. THEY ARE THE WORST!

Beware this company. Charges administrative fee without authorization if they don’t get the job. Don’t give them your credit card number. There are many honest car shippers. This one should be avoided.

I wish I can give them no stars I spoke to joe and 2 other guys sadly I didn’t get there name.
They are so extremely rude I’m trying to transport my car and they just want to rush you into everything there so rude, I was asked what’s the ZIP Code and I had to get it and they hung up on me second time I was able to have the ZIP Code ready and I wanted to schedule it up and he was like OK but I need all your information is that OK but I’m not quite ready yet because I’m not sure what exactly date he’s like OK well by and hang up I called again asking to speak to the manager about how rude they are some guy picks up and I asked to speak to the manager he’s like what can I help you with and I said I want to put a complaint and he’s like the manager what’s going on and I explain what’s going on and he told me you can go fuck yourself we don’t want your business anyways.

They may have been easy to deal with and technically my car arrived on time and undamaged, but the behavior of the company they contracted me out to was completely unacceptable and I definitely hold A1A accountable. Umbrella Auto Transport was full of awful unprofessional people. At no point did they inform me when they would be arriving. I called the day before and the driver did not answer. He also did not have voicemail set up on his phone. I spoke with someone at Umbrella and he said 5 – 6 PM. On the day of I decided to try the driver again and he also said 5 – 6. Five came and went so I called A1A. The person I spoke to put on a big show, saying that he talked to Umbrella and told them not to lie to me. He assured me they would arrive by 7 or 8. Seven came around and still no call. I got in touch with Umbrella, since A1A was closed at that point. They said they were on their way. This occurred every hour until 11:30 PM when they finally showed up. At no point did they call to tell me that they were going to be late, having trouble with traffic, etc.
When the car finally did arrive, it seemed fine. It wasn’t until the next morning that I discovered about half and inch of coffee in my cup holder. It was also splattered all over the center console and side of the steering wheel. It was sticky and truly disgusting. If this is the type of unprofessional behavior displayed by the people hired by A1A there is absolutely no reason to work with them. They are one of many mysteriously high-​rated companies.

I gave this company my son’s truck to move from Austin, TX. to Orange County, CA. We had to call daily to see when the truck would be picked up. After 6 days we cancelled and were charged a $ 50.00 administration charge because they could not supply a truck for the move.
don’t know about others, but in my business if I can’t supply service, I don’t piss off the customer by charging them an admiration fee. BTW the truck will be returning to Austin in August when my son goes back to school.

I’ve recently shipped my car with this company and they were very helpful and informative. The representative was very friendly and they were upfront and honest unlike other companies I’ve shipped with.
