Bluewater Key-Clarks Rv Lot Rentals by Owner

This is the nicest RV park we have ever seen. When you are here you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. Most of the sites are directly on the water and provide beautiful views. The downside is the cost, you are paying over $ 100.00 per day for a parking space.

I wish I could give zero stars to this park. Apparently, they have a brand new policy where you must arrive before dark because some people crashed into their tiki huts. This is completely understandable, but this information is not on their website, except for in a downloadable file called «getting here…» When I called to make my reservation, the woman didnot tellme that we had to arrive before dark. I didn’t receive my confirmation until 1pm the day ofour trip, after I emailed them to inquire about it. I knew that we would be arriving late when I made the reservation. If I had known about their policy, I would have never made the reservation. The problem was how they handled the situation after I learned of the policy.
After receiving a message from the park, I tried to call back. When I got in touch with them, at 4pm, they informed me that I had tobe there before dark. We had not left, because we were waiting for the rest of our party to get out of work, and it is a six-​hour drive from my location. When I explained this to Rita, she said «Well you can’t stay here tonight.» After a long telephone conversation, where Rita said we should find somewhere else for the first night, that if we showed up early the next day we would get charged a $ 30 early fee, that they would not refund our reservation because «They have a policy,» we finally canceled our reservation and Rita «out of the kindness of her heart» would only charge us for one night. Rita was unbelievably rude the entire conversation.
My point is, their policy is probably fine, but their customer service and demeanor was the absolute worst. I have never dealt with anyone so rude and combative. I explained that I had no idea about the policy and that I would not have reserved the If I had known about it. Rita only said «It’s on our website.» Well, as I explained above, it’s not. Don’t call with rude people, go to Boyd’s. We called them right after the hassle with Bluewater and Boyd’s said we could show up late without a problem. They were kind and courteous. They were accommodating. If you’re looking for an RV Park, go to Boyd’s.

A big thanks to Donna, Dan and the entire staff! First time in an RV, it was an incredible experience, mostly because of this facility’s remarkable beauty and quality.
Both our neighbors were nice and friendly.
Our lot had a big tiki hut with countertop, sink, fridge, ceiling fans and patio sets.
Kids and adults had a blast jumping in the water from the little dock.
My family an I hope to visit back many times in the future…

This has to be the best RV resort my wife and I have stayed at. Been here almost two months. Nice people, friendly staff and great sites. Have already put my request in for next year. I sure hope they have room.

Have been staying here for the past 2 months and looking forward to returning next year as well. Beautiful and spacious sites located either on the bay or the canal. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. My only drawback, no workout room.

We stayed at Blue Water Key RV resort in August 2013. We have 3 children and 2 dogs and towed our 38 foot travel trailer from SC. We stayed on lot 81 and rented from Rita, Denise and Dave. There are two management groups that offer sites at this park. My experience was that the folks at
had much nicer more luxurious sites.
Our Tiki was huge and had a commercial freezer and refrigerator that we loved! We also had the use of a beautiful bar, patio furniture, huge table and chairs and a television. We loved our beautifully landscaped site. We used the dock to swim from and our children spent the first several days in the ocean at our site. The pool was nice and very cool. They must have ran water in it to keep it refreshing usually in August most pools feel like bath water. The staff was fantastic and we never met anyone that was not amazingly friendly. Denise and Dave went out of their way to accommodate every request and even helped us set up our camper. All three of our hosts checked on us and made sure we were comfortable. I can not say how great our experience was.
While we were there we visited the KOA down the street that we found. When I drove through the KOA I knew that we were comparing a Pinto to a Cadillac and I was so thankful that we stayed at

If I could give this ZERO STARS I would. My family and I had reservations for two sites (6 months prior) and upon arrival things were seemingly nice. The property is very nice, on the water, sites with huts, comfortable seating and a dock.
When I took my cousins to the pool, we were stared at and felt unwelcome by the «locals» and were told it was much quieter in the winter aka there are no children. So rude and elitist.
Within hours of our stay we were approached by Donna the property manager who was carrying a tape measure. She was extremely combative and derogatory. She informed us that our rv was .5ft too short and that we had to leave the park that night. There was no flexibility or working with us, we had to leave right away.
Truth is, we were a large family, paying just like anyone else, BUT we are didn’t have a million dollar rv like all the rest of them.

I would never go within a mile of this park, and i would never recommend it unless you like stuck up people and you don’t care about being treated poorly if you aren’t as wealthy.
