Reef Runaround

On a recent trip to Islamorada we scheduled a return trip to the Miami Airport from another airport transportation service. The night before pick up I called to confirm our return trip, the company had no record of our reservation. I even had a copy of the email confirmation. The company told me they weren’t coming and couldn’t fit us in their schedule. I was panicked. The hotel gave us the name of Reef Runaround. Olga was awesome! She really put my mind at ease. They arrived 15 minutes early. The driver even stopped so I could grab a last minute souvenir I had forgot to pick up. We go to the keys every year. Reef Runaround will be my only choice for transportation on my future trips. The driver also advised me they offer Taxi service as well. Thank you Olga!

If you need a taxi in Key Largo, call Reef Runaround. My husband and I decided the night before that we needed a taxi to go diving, but I was so worried we would never make it on time because of past experience and all the bad reviews on other taxi companies. We had to be at the dive shop at 8am to check in and prepare our gear. We ask that the cab arrive at 7:15 even though our destination was only 15 minutes away. We wanted to have some flexibility in case the diver came late.
We were not disappointed. At 7am we got a call that the taxi was at the entrance of our resort, but were told not to worry since he was early. I was so relieved we wouldn’t miss the dive boat. The diver was the owner of the company (forgot his name) and he was the nicest man ever. The car was very clean and looked quite new and the ride was comfortable without any unnecessary sudden stops. The 15 minute trip cost $ 19 and the timer didn’t start until we got in the car which was exactly at 7:15am. They accept credit cards, but there is a $ 1 service charge.
We mentioned that we would need a ride back to our resort after the dive and were told to not worry and just call at least 15 minutes early. We ended up getting a ride back to the resort with a fellow diver who was also staying there, but the taxi called us to see if we still needed a ride. I was so impressed they took the time to make sure we were ok. Seriously, I will never use any other taxi service in Key Largo, Tavernier or Islamorada area of Florida. Their number is 603.986.0734.

This was our first time using Reef Runaround, but I happened to see them picking someone up at Ocean Reef and noted the company name. We usually rent a car, which adds another 45 minutes to the trip. I received an email reminder the morning I was due to leave, and even though our flight was delayed, Olga tracked it and got to the airport when we arrived. She even called when she got there to tell us exactly where she was. It was seamless and saved so much time.
We had a flight snafu on the way back home, and Olga came back to the airport to get us and helped us with a new itinerary for the evening! We are definitely using Reef Runaround again.
