Key Largo Kampground & Marina

This campground is not truly meant for tent camping. The ground is covered in rocks and you defiantly need some sort of padding. Also, the tent sites are located right next to the main drive, so you hear people coming and going all night with bright lights filling your tent.
Quiet time is 11pm, crazy. So it’s loud well into midnight. They have security driving around all night that doesn’t say anything about the music/​singing/​loud talking.
Also, there are permanent residences at the campground. For the most part they were welcoming, but the couple we were across from had their porch lights on all night. Seriously don’t tent camp here! You will get terrible sleep!
Tips:
The beach is man made and not impressive.
They play bingo on Fridays and Tuesday’s. It is a lot of fun!
Bring your bike!
No fire pits. Bring coals.

Went as an invited guest to camp. It was very nice although the residents were not so happy to see us. We were not loud or crazy but we felt as if we were at our grandparents house. More families with kids would be nice. It was a relaxing time, clean and beautiful. More welcoming atmosphere would have been nice since we are locals in our 30−40a and not Spring Breakers.

I am giving 5 stars because of the people who work here. They are really friendly and try to do everything they can to accommodate you. The wifi is fast. The amenities good and close (walking distance) to stores and restaurants. Price is cheaper than most campgrounds in the keys. The only downside is the sites are gravel so it is kind of crappy for tenting and sites are a little on the small side.

We had T-​31, very nice site right next to the marina and not far from the beach. The campground was beautiful, and very close to restaurants and water sports activities. It also has amenties like a grill and showers. Definitely not for a young crowd though lol… I think (besides us) the youngest person I saw was 55.

Great all around campground. Truly makes you feel at a relaxing cabana in the tropics.

Great campground. Sandy and Floyd were super helpful. Sandy gave us a great spot for our needs knowing we had two young children with us. We could watch them play at the playground right from our site. Pool was clean, bathrooms decent a little old but clean most of the time. Floyd was very helpful in things to do in the area and very friendly. Overall campground was clean and rules strictly enforced. Definitely be back!

What a great place to stay. We rented a spot by the water with a tiki hut. The spot by the water was well worth the extra $ 10 we could walk out our RV and jump right in the water. We could snorkel and dive with our Dive gear right there and there was a reef rite there with eels, fish, and anything else you could think of. Like others have said it is a little hard to find even with a GPS. just watch for the SMALL blue RV signs at the 101.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights on a recent vacation. We camped in a tent that we packed in our suitcase. The campground was beautiful. Right on the water, pool on site, beach access, convenient location. Each site comes with its own picnic table and grill. The staff was super friendly too.
We loved it here. The only thing we wished we had known was that the floor was going to be gravel and not grass or sand like we expected. We didn’t bring an air mattress, so that first night was a bit uncomfortable.

Stayed on non-​water front lot with family for Thanksgiving. As previous reviewer mentioned private beach is great, small, quaint, and not overly used (which we enjoyed.)
We rented a canoe from outside provider and was able to coast out right from the beach — did some fishing as well.
Big drawback was flooding that occurred on campsite which we were unaware of. As many of the permanent owners mentioned, we ‘were swimming’ on our lot.
Bathrooms were ok, internet access was fast. Swimming pool was warmed and a pleasant surprise.
What was great about the campground was very close proximity to Publix, Kmart, Chinese restaurant, AND doctor. I recommend bringing our bicycles.
I would stay again.

We stayed at Key Largo Kampground & Marina over the holidays this past Christmas. Finding the location was a bit tough, there are no big visible signs off the highway. You will have to pay close attention to a blue trailer symbol sign to find the campgrounds.
For $ 60 a night, you will get a non-​waterfront location. For $ 75, you get a waterfront location.
The facilities are a bit old but functional. The restrooms and showers are descent.
The private beaches are great, they are small but quaint. It looks like not much of the park campers use them.
Key Largo Kampground & Marina is a worthwhile spot to stay in if you are in the Florida keys.
