Booked a room here tues to Thurs in sept. Was greeted by Ed and checked us in. Frig worked great, kitchen had everything, clean towels, and nice outdoor area. Just call ahead of arrival to get AC on before arrival.

This place is everything you wished the last motel you stayed at was. Small simple place only a few rooms. Great location, price is steep for the mainland but for the keys this place was reasonable. Close parking, mini kitchen w stove microwave and fridge. Bathroom is a bit tight. It beds are nice and firm. Owners are friendly as well place is well kept inside. Clean. Cable and wifi. Great if you have lots of things planned and want to stop in for a quick break in afternoon. Takes 5 min or less to get to anything on key largo.

This review is for the Key Largo location. I give this establishment a 4 only after visiting a «nicer» place for one night and having that place not be as good as it seemed. At first glance this lodging is nothing to brag about. It looks charming but a dump. The reviews on trip advisor have it right. It’s cheap and you get what you pay for. If you want a 5 star stay for a 2 star price then this place is not for you. There was a microwave, refrigerator, working AC, and free WiFi. The shower was a tight fit but it worked. I did not see any bedbugs like one of the reviews mentioned and I was not bit by anything. In fact I saw no bugs at all, unlike the«nicer» more expensive hotel we stayed for only one night afterwards. The only thing I could say is they could use an iron and ironing board and a more thorough cleaning. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Ed and Ellen were friendly. I saw Ellen rake the leaves in the courtyard every morning. Ed greeted us when we arrived and we were able to check in early with no issues. We should really support the mom and pop businesses, then maybe they can afford an iron.
