History

Established in 2005.

PREPWORKS began as a 1:1 In-​Person tutoring service provider and expanded with another location. In 2011, PREPWORKS applied their adaptive approach to test prep and brought their programs online, and now have a thriving e-​business to complement their storefronts. PREPWORKS serves thousands of students across the country, both in-​person and online. We also provide in-​home tutoring services and on-​campus at our partner schools in Miami.

A graduate of Phillips Academy Andover and Vanderbilt University, Ms. LaFlamme Ortega began her career in education more than twenty years ago as an English Literature teacher. Today she leads one of the fastest growing woman-​owned education technology and tutoring companies. As an educator-​entrepreneur, Ms. LaFlamme Ortega has led a team of educational course designers, content engineers, programmers, and content experts to develop an multiple award-​winning e-​learning platform that is disrupting the way students across the globe learn and achieve on pre-​college standardized assessments.
