Came in for my scheduled cleaning and the front desk was very polite and professional. The hygienist Zina was very thorough but gentle and always kept a smile on her face. Dr Sakhaee was very to the point and gave a no nonsense approach I very much appreciated. All in all I had a great experience which is saying a lot since I dislike going to dentists lol

My husband and I had an awesome experience from the front staff, to our dental hygienist Zina and our dentist Dr. Sakhaee. Everyone is very friendly, very warm, very informative and make you feel at home. We found our new dentist after losing ours after so many years. Billing practice that was borderline scam artist!
My 23 yr old daughter made an appt for 1÷15÷16. She had just gotten her own dental ins and wanted her teeth cleaned since she had to come off my dental ins at 18. They cleaned her teeth, then informed her that she had cavities that needed to be filled which is to be expected. They only filled the cavities on one side of her mouth & told her to come back at a later date for the rest. She was advised that her wisdom teeth needed to be extracted at her earliest convenience.
Upon leaving, she was charged $ 811 !!! Yes! She has insurance! She could only afford to pay ½ of it & charged it to her credit card. Needless to say they took serious advantage of her lack of knowledge with their billing procedure ! She had a $ 50 co pay & ins pays 80% of the rest. She actually only owed them $ 120 I had to leave work to go and straighten out THEIR «error». Straight Scam
PS They also billed her in ADVANCE for work they were going to do on her NEXT visit

I came today with my 7 year old. We had an appointment and the Waite time was less than 5 min. The staff was so nice and attentive. They even changed the channel to a Disney channel to accommodate my child while we wait. We came for cleaning and the dental assistant Zina was very fun and nice and very patient with my daughter, the cleaning was good and we came out happy.

I absolutely love this dentist! I had been going to Dr. Sakhaee for years, long before he switched to this new office, and even then I followed him. Dr. Sakhaee is a professional and very knowledgeable dentist, he is kind, patient and guides you throughout the entire procedure, which to me is very comforting. I’ve had multiple root canals, amongst other procedures, and I can’t imagine ever getting them done with any other dentist. The office I once dreaded visiting (any dentist office) became my favorite all thanks to Dr. Sakhaee. Let’s not forget to mention his staff who is also very kind and well mannered. I wouldn’t trade this office for anything & I recommend this dentistry to everyone and anyone!

Metropolitan Smiles is by far and away the best dental office I’ve encountered. The doctor is extremely courteous and friendly. He explains all of his procedures beforehand, he carefully weighs all options with you and most importantly he’s well experienced at what he does. I only come here for teeth cleaning and cavity search, I mean check for cavities.
The staff has always been friendly which keeps me coming back. And the scheduling has always been prompt. It’s also very convenient for me to come here by public transportation especially if you are taking the Q10 or even walking/jogging if you live around the neighborhood like I do.
The space is CLEAN, a bit on the small side in the waiting area but I like the intimate setting. It gives a feel of a more personal experience.
Entering the space that you get your cleaning or whatever dental work you came to do the cleanliness keeps me coming back. Well, that and the fact they take my dental insurance helps. Now, they have added TVs that plays Netflix so you can watch your favorite Bradley Cooper movies if you wanted to while they do their work.
In the near future, whether they take my insurance or not, I’ll still come back here for any dental needs.

Great dentist! Dr. Sakhaee is very professional and knowledgeable; he is extremely passionate about what he does. His skills and equipment are absolutely of the highest quality. He thoroughly explains the procedure that is performed and takes the time to review the x-rays in detail and answer all the questions. Furthermore, the entire staff at Metropolitan Smiles is welcoming, pleasant and true professionals. They make sure that you are comfortable and well taken care of.
My husband went with a lot of pain following two unsuccessful fillings done by other dentists. Dr. Sakhaee clearly explained what was done wrong and what was causing the pain. He also explained all treatment options and gave his honest professional opinion. Eventually, he used a temporary medicated filling to treat the infection that was caused as a result of the inefficient previous dental work and saved the tooth instead of doing a root canal, which my husband greatly appreciates.
We highly recommend Metropolitan Smiles. Dr. Sakhaee definitely cares for his patients, and he absolutely lives up to all the positive reviews on here.

My wife and I have been coming here since we got married a little over 15 months ago, and we’re very happy to have found a good, reliable, efficient and thorough dentist in the area! The staff is super friendly, helpful and quick. Dr. Sakhaee is very thorough in his examination, routine cleanings are a breeze but done well, and anytime we’ve needed a filling he’s been gentle, didnt cause excess bleeding or pain, and did a good job. Appointments are available at convenient hours, evenings or weekends. Parking can be an issue but swing around once or twice and you’re bound to find something open up. The office is pleasantly clean, pristine, up to date and gives you a good vibe that the staff and doctor take pride in their practice and value their patients. We will be coming back as long as we are in Queens!

I love this dental office.
1. The receptionist didn’t have an attitude. She was very nice and friendly.
2. The office waiting area was small but neat and clean.
3. The assistants that did my x-Ray and cleaning were very professional. Bed side manners were excellent.
4. Everyone that saw me explained to me everything that was going on with my teeth and what they were going to do.
5. The staff made me feel very at ease and comfortable.
