I’ve been interested in Real Estate since I was a college student at then, Southwest Texas State University and my first job after graduation was as an apprentice with a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser. I learned to appraise Commercial Real Estate and became a fee appraiser for another 4 years, appraising properties mostly in the Houston, TX area but also traveling to both East and West coasts to cover assignments in New Hampshire and California. I was asked to start a mortgage department for Bank of the Hills in 2000. I took a leap of faith and learned the mortgage business «trial by fire» and the department was profitable every year of its existence. I have met a host of wonderful mentors and customers through the years that make this job exciting and rewarding even in tough times. Anyone in the mortgage business will vouch for the recent tough times with the continuous regulation changes and turmoil that has plagued our industry over the last 8 plus years, however we continue to get the job done right even in a tough environment. The bottom line is this, I like to help people, not only in my business dealings, but also my personal life. I work hard and I play hard. During my spare time you will find me with my family enjoying many activities, playing lead guitar for The Sean Kendrick Band and at City West Church on most Sunday mornings, saltwater fishing and boating, hunting with my 2 labs and volunteering in my community.
