Mayo Family Reserve Room

From the moment we walked in Felicia treated us like family. Well, actually better than family because nobody in my family greets me with a flute of bubbly when I walk through the door! Felicia is extremely knowledgeable, relatable and funny to boot! The wines are paired superbly with each course of the tasting menu. Sara, the sous chef, did a phenomenal job of explaining each of the delectable dishes. You can see her passion in each painstakingly created bite! This experience is a must try and at $ 40, a bargain for a high-​end wine and culinary adventure!

The entire experience was amazing. We came early for the 11:00 seating and they let us sit and start sipping the wine. Samuel, the chef and wine purveyor extraordinaire, was our server. His knowledge of wine and food was impressive. HIs ability to put us and the other patrons at complete ease was amazing.
Needless to say all was delicious and all the wines and tidbits of food were perfectly paired. I am glad we sat at the bar as that gave us the personal interaction with Samuel. None of our silly questions were treated as silly. They are there to educate and educate they did.
Drinking that much wine that early in the day is risky business and oh yes, that Zin is evil and snuck up on me. Rich and fruity and high in alcohol made it an absolute standout. Just had to drive back very very carefully.
Presentation, quality of food, quality of wine, and impeccable pairing of tastes and textures all the best there is. Would give this experience more stars if I could.

Excellent food and wine paring experience. Kurt was very informative and laid-​back, giving us a comfortable atmosphere to fully enjoy the wine and food. Chef Elliot was very talented. The flavor profiles he pulled in the dishes really went well with the wine selection.
You get 6 wines each pairs with a small dish and one dessert and wine pairing. It’s magical to see how proper pairing of wine and food can elevate your tasting experience so drastically. For example, before the food, Grenache blanc we had was our least favorite one out of the initial three. However, when served with croque Monsieur, it became one of our favorite! The wine perfectly balanced off the heavy sandwich. That’s just one example. Overall a delightful experience!
Highly recommend this place. You will not regret it. It’s such a gem! We found this place last minute but it was so wonderful!

You need to call ahead for reservations. $ 25 for members, $ 35 for non. It was a 7 course wine and small bite food pairing. We chose the end of the day and it made a perfect dinner for us
Kurt was our wine pourer. Right off the bat he made us feel right at home. And no question was going to be too silly. And we had several. We enjoyed his knowledge and service immensely.
Chef Clayton Louis prepared an incredible tasting. The Harvest of M’s. His thought into the menu, pairing with the wines and play on food was so very appreciated. Chef personally delivered each plate and described the ingredients and tastes. Chef also took the time to answer all questions about spices and flavors in his dishes
I’m not a person happy to belly up to a bar and just do a wine tasting. I want to learn. This tasting is a fabulous education on the difference food can make to wine and vice versa. And Mayo does a wonderful job presenting it
