Sean is a great, efficient customer service representative. He was so good about contacting me, explaining my options and getting my garage door repaired. Adam did a quality job of installing my opener and explaining how it worked. Not only were they efficient and polite but very kind.

I sent an email to Doorman today to get some info on lube/​maintenance for my garage doors. In less than five minutes, I received a call from Shawn. He was very friendly and explained how the springs work. Less than two hours later, a tech (Bryan I think) had the job complete. I didn’t need same day service but the tech was already in my area. These guys are QUICK! Bryan did a great job, he was polite, took the time to show me the parts that needed replacing, and got the job done really fast. My doors are much quieter now and I feel better knowing they are safer now too. I will definitely use this company again.

We had our door installed by The Doorman decades ago, and they came out this week and quickly updated the motor and all controls. It was an effortless upgrade and our door operates quieter, smoother and relieved a few anxieties when the safety beam would turn off. The «wrinkle» was that my car’s Homelink would not work, and I tried, tried, tried to no avail. We asked the company and their representative (shout out for Shawn!) researched and figured out the year of my car was making in incompatible and he found the solution for me. Wow — he got on it, stayed on it and figured it out. This is the kind of service I do in my business and I love it when I experience it as a customer.

The staff was very pleasant and to the point when I called for a quick quote. I booked an appointment. The price was a little less or the same as others, but the woman’s friendliness got my business. The gentleman that came out for the repair was on time to the minute and worked as quickly as possible. He even did a little extra than what was charged. I was really impressed by their customer service and respect.

My garage door extension springs broke… very dangerous and I tried to remember Doorman Services whom I had done repair work years ago. I started looking and after many tries I did find them by Googling. They setup a time frame when they could survey what needed to be done. The next team came to repair it, gave me information on repairing it with the old type of equipment which was unsafe or go with another option. When I chose the new option they gave me cost, time it would take to repair. They pair worked diligently the whole time it took to install and get the door cycling right… about an 1 ½ hrs. I like it that they keep you informed of when the repair team will be arriving should they be delayed from another job. I have been
a previously satisfied customer and am again.

After working a full stressful day, I came home to watch my garage door only move about 8″. After checking on the inside the spring had sprung, ugh. Thankfully right by my inside opener button was the Doorman sticker. I called and left my info. They promptly returned my call the next morning and had James at our home within the hour. James replaced both springs, adjusted the chain, lubed the entire system, and checked the batteries in both my car remote and the keyless entry. In addition he walked thru the procedure for programing the code. Courteous, helpful, knowledgeable a pleasure to do business with. We will continue to take our business to Doorman. Thank you!

This company holds to all the great old customer service standards. My car was locked inside my garage and they solved the problem by replacing a 43 year old garage door opener with one that was up to code and really inexpensive. In a matter of hours! The service tech James took the time to go over the manual to make sure I knew how to operate the device. Not only that, repaired some minor things on our OTHER garage door opener FOR FREE, just because he was already here. I will never use any other provider. Not often you run into a company with Nordstrom customer Service standards. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

If you are in the market for a new garage door and/​or opener, I recommend checking out Doorman Service for your install. I researched the various door manufacturers and decided on a brand I felt was the best for my price range. Choosing an installer can be hard. I usually like to shop for services in my immediate vicinity just for the good feeling of supporting my community. I picked right because Doorman has the best customer service I have experienced since moving to the state 5 years ago. The office staff is very patient and knowledgeable, I know because I ask a lot of questions. The installers are very helpful and professional and the install was excellent. All in all a perfect 10.

FANTASTIC! We were in dire need of garage doors and sometimes when that is the case you get worked on price and receive crappy customer service just because you really need it. That wasn’t the case here. The installers were professional, I never got a creepy feeling. I totally trusted them at my home and in a garage full of what I consider to be treasures. When we went through the details of how to use the new gadgets we had added to the garage doors and openers they informed me of a suspicious car that was continually driving down our road (dead end) and also grabbed the mail that was being dropped off by the postal service. Now that’s what you call above and beyond. Also, when we recieved our quote it was done in a timely manner and all questions were answered before install. It was one of the only upgrades done to our home that wasn’t painful.

My garage door spring sprung several months ago. After trying to contact a few other garage repair places, Doorman is the one I got the best response back from.
Their price was quite reasonable and spot on for the actual job needed.
The repairer was happy to explain & demo why certain parts needed to be replaced.
So pleased with their responsiveness, I recommended them to a neighbor in my condo neighborhood.
