I shopped online. They refused to honor their written best price guarantee. First they said they couldn’t verify the details. Then I provided them. Then they said it was only available on one piece. I proved I bought 15 five piece sets. Finally they said «we don’t have it available at that price. Integrity is a problem.

I live in Texas and researched a silver item I wanted to buy as a gift. I was a bit hesitant to go with a store in another state with which I had no pervious dealings. This item needed to be custom engraved and the options on their web page did not allow me to communicate what I needed done. Therefore, I went with an email and they were fast to respond. Once I was quoted a price I asked them to build an invoice so I could call in and pay with a credit card instead of going through the whole build the order, give my address, etc over the phone. They did that perfectly and had my order ready to go on time after I called in to give only my order number and credit card info. USPS was pathetic taking 6 days to deliver a 2 day mailing from the Silver Superstore but that’s not the fault of the retailer. I would not hesitate to buy from here again and encourage you to try them. The service and value is excellent. They even beat Amazon pricing in many cases and if you live out of state there is no sales tax that would be paid with Amazon. They have me as a customer for life based on my first purchase experience.

Definitely a 5 star. I actually had a single plate order to replace one out of a set. I hoped to get it for Christmas as a simple gift for a plate I had broken! The plate was not in stock on Amazon and local stores. So, I took a shot dealing direct online with Superstore. Price was as good as Amazon. My order was placed on backorder but the email said to email them back in case I want Superstore to follow-​up. I only ordered a single plate but thought I’d give the email a shot. Surprisingly Superstore got back to me the next day… gave me all the details of the backorder. they verified delivery from the manufacturer and specially marked my order that it would be delivered by Dec 24… all for an order of a single plate. Guess what… it was delivered on Dec 24. Now this is *customer service* at a great price and awesome, friendly, personal communications. Thanks Superstore!

I ordered Celtic pattern flatware from Silver Superstore about two years ago. I just came back to check the Unilocal listing and found out they still have the one post they had two years ago. I figured that wasn’t fair, so here I am two years later writing the review I should have written two years ago.
I was lucky to find this store on Google and then going to the site. I ordered online and conducted most of the purchasing through emails but I do recall that a very friendly lady called me to finalize some details of the transaction.
Needing 4 more place settings I went to Amazon to only find out that every place setting they showed was on backorder. So, remembering that the store was in Kent Washington it was easy enough to find on Google and then on Unilocal.
So that’s what I have to say about the Great Northwest.

My review is based on the experience ordering through the website, but they’re a regular retail business as well.
I got married eleven years ago, when we weren’t sure why our mothers were on our cases about registering for flatware. Now that we’re older and have pulled off a few Thanksgiving dinners with the whole family, having the special dishes and flatware makes sense. I’m mature enough now that I give a shit whether they match.
The sucky part is, the flatware pattern was discontinued by the time we cared enough to want service for twelve (we got six as wedding gifts). A few places have remaining sets of our pattern but Silver Superstore had the lowest prices and reasonable shipping rates. The shipping took a long time, but they were good about emailing me with the timeframes.
