Ring Demon Mixed Martial arts specializes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Kickboxing, and Submission Wrestling. We also offer kid’s programs in Jiu Jitsu, boxing, and wrestling. All classes are taught by Brazilian Black Belt Eric Dahlberg. Eric has over 20 years of experience in mixed martial arts. Eric has an impressive MMA record of 11 – 1, boxing record of 3 – 0, Abu Dhabi contestant, collegiate wrestler, and an Army Ranger Combatives instructor. Eric has coached fighters all over the world for UFC, Strikeforce, Bellator, Cage Warriors Combat, among others. At Ring Demon, you will receive world class instruction emphasizing on perfect technique to accomplish your goals. From beginners to professionals, our classes are created to make sure you have the best experience and instruction possible.

Ring Demon was started in 2005 by Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt Eric Dahlberg. Eric has over 20 years of experience in Jiu Jitsu, kick boxing, boxing, collegiate wrestling, and submission wrestling.

I have trained at most of the gyms in the area, and the coach here is BY FAR the most knowledgeable when it comes to jiu-​jitsu, wrestling, and striking.
Boxing classes here are my favorite. Meeting a high level instructor who will spend his own time working with pros or amateurs is awsome!

It’s been two years since I’ve signed up, and while the first year was more sporadic, I have been going to Ring Demon 2 – 3 times a week for a year now. And let me tell you, Eric Dahlberg is as good as it gets in terms of coaching. I gave a couple of other martial art places a trial before settling with Ring Demon. Eric doesn’t just teach you boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, or jiu-​jitsu, he teaches you a way to think about martial arts in general — relying on technique, energy, and leverage instead of strength to defeat your opponents. He is also ALWAYS willing to help out and ask any questions — no private lessons required. I was intimidated at first because the only martial arts experience I had prior to going enrolling in Ring Demon was a few weeks of trial classes and a year of karate way back in high school. But the school’s approach to helping new students learn and integrate made me get past my comfort zone and eventually be comfortable enough to learn and spar.
Summary: Great coach, great training partners, great environment to learn.

Eric Dahlberg is a former college wrestler, MMA fighter, and professional boxer. Beyond that, he is a gifted instructor, whose mission is to take his students, whether kids, adults, or pro fighters, to a higher level of technique & enjoyment of the art.

The new address is 979 Minkler Boulevard in Tukwila. The new location has more space, better facilities, a cage, multiple heavy punching/​kicking bags, weights, and of course a good amount of mat space. The owner and lead instructor is Erik Dallberg, an expert all three of the major MMA spots (Wrestling, Muy Thai Kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.) Even though Erik’s background is in BJJ, he was successful in his first year as a community college wrestler. Erik is a great instructor who walks you through steps as you need them and gives plenty of individualized attention as long as he’s not already helping someone else. Highly recommended for beginner, intermediate, and advanced fighters.
