Pauline’s Nail Spa

I am definitely happy to have found this place. The establishment is so clean, peaceful and zen. Unlike every other salon I’ve been to the pedicure area has its own room separate from the front waiting area. I thought that it was an additional waxing area but after passing by it on the way to the bathroom to wash my hands I saw that it looked like an area fit for a queen.
They offer Silk Nails. I had never even heard of silk nails and I’m so glad I got them done. The tech that did my manicure explained did a beautiful job shaping my nails and painting them.
If you’re in the Covington/​Kent/​Maple Valley area in need of a really good manicure this is the place! Friendly staff, not like other nail salons where they rush you out the door. The tech made it a point to take her time sculpting my manicure to perfection.

Pauline’s Nail Spa is my favorite! I love all the ladies at this salon. They do such a good job with pedicures and Silk Nails. I’m sad they don’t have another salon closer to where I live (I live in Kirkland). My sister and I come here all the time, but especially for special occasions and holidays. They are always so sweet and have a ton of regular clients that come in all the time. Very soothing and relaxing place with a ton of colors to choose from. I never leave disappointed!

So when you’re down visiting family, you try their places for fun. We had some free time in a Saturday and made a last minute appointment for three of us to have pedicures at Pauline’s. Compared to even my favorite spots in Belltown and Ballard, this is just as good if not better.
Service is great, the estheticians did a wonderful job and the entire session was quite relaxing. It had a nice family atmosphere and like most pedi spas, had some great green tea. Plus they also offer homemade spring rolls as well as a nice light snack.
As a guy I’m not wild about adding color to my cuticles so I can’t comment on that, but girlfriend and her mom both seemed to have nice colors applied evenly and well. For the price it’s definitely worth the time…

The first time I came here about a month ago, my nails turned out really nice (got a silk full set and pedicure) so naturally I was eager to come back. I was also happy to find a nail salon I’m finally satisfied with since it seems to be a difficult task! Fast forward to my second visit for a silk fill, I will not be coming back again. The nail tech doing my nails was in such a hurry to get them done, that I could have painted them better myself. Which I actually ended up doing once I got home since I was so unsatisfied. What’s the point of getting your nails done somewhere if they look so sloppy you end up redoing them at home! Definitely will not be coming back and was extremely disappointed and frustrated.

First of all, know that this place is NOT owned by the same people who have a nail spa in Des Moines under the same name. If you have a groupon it doesn’t apply here.
I was not impressed with this place. They told me they were booked up but the place was empty except for one person getting a mani. They were very rushed to get it done, and clipped me with the cuticle cutter, making me bleed for 5 min and dousing it with alcohol and nail polish which burned. The paint was applied sloppily and overall, not worth the price. Also the place is not very clean and the hand dishes dirty.
I gave it two stars because they were friendly but I won’t be coming back.

This was our first stop into Pauline’s. I have to say that all three of us enjoyed our experience receiving spa pedicures. Excellent attention to detail, GREAT massages and my feet and legs feel wonderful. Several color choices available plus several shellac colors. The staff are very friendly and personable and made a point of talking with my young daughter and making her feel special. We will DEFINITELY be back.

They do a really good job and play soothing music. The only downside of this place is while doing nails, they take no interest in their clients. They just speak
among themselves in Vietnamese. They do a good job, but customer service sucks!!!

This is one of my favorite places to spend an hour or more.
The salon is pretty, clean, and the staff is fabulous. They know what they’re doing, they’re fast and do their best to accommodate walk-​ins when they can.
We’re chatty when we’re there, as it’s usually a group outing for the girls in my family. Hopefully we’re not too disruptive for their other clients as we catch up with each other and the salon staff. We’ve been going there for years (more than 5), so we genuinely want to know how they are.
The Pedicure chairs are great, and they have separate rooms if you want to bring your man for a little «manscaping». I’m starting my young nephews on pedicures, so far they love them!
If you’ve never had silk nails, you’re missing out. So much better than acrylic (which I would NEVER do again!). They’re lighter, have some give (they move), and don’t tear your own nails apart if they break or come off (very important!).
The prices may seem higher, but the Silk Nails are soooooo much better than acrylic, it’s worth a few bucks more.
I plan to go here as long as they’ll let me. I LOVE MY NAIL SALON!!!

I love the silk nail application that is applied and PNS really know how to apply it fast and flawlessly. The girls provide an excellent service that I have graciously respected. I will only depend on these lovely ladies to do their magic on my nails with a relaxing pedicure to create a 5 star award in my world. Keep up the great image ladies!

Since I live in North Seattle I don’t get to come down to Pauline’s as much as I would like — but it is the best nail salon I’ve been too. My favorite gal there is Lee; she is fantastic, sweet, and super nice (personality and handling). Pricing… is a little higher than some places — but I like them and when I go it’s a full mani/​pedi. I adore them!!!

LOVED IT! WILL BE BACK TO GET SILK NAILS AGAIN! The first thing I noticed about the place was the smell, or lack thereof. The lady who worked on me was super friendly, and I just loved going there. Everything was perfect, I will be back soon for a wax and a fill! Might need to get a pedicure too, the place is so clean so I’m not worried about the sanitation like with other nail shops. I WILL BE BACK!
