So much food for cheap! There are certain entrees you order and it includes fried rice, sweet n sour chicken, soup, and crab rangoon I believe. Vibrant from the outside, it’s a nice little hole in the wall spot. Pretty tasty Chinese food overall; the beef short ribs were yummy, even though the meat was a little tough. The lady working was super nice and very attentive.(:

* Review is for lunch time delivery! After our regular places not being open or available for delivery yet, my boyfriend and I decided to try out Fortune. While it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, it was still pretty tasty. — General Tsao’s Chicken: Had a fishy taste to it. They’re a seafood restaurant, I get it, but… The chicken? Shouldn’t taste like fish. However, I was still able to eat like three pieces. — Orange Flavored Chicken: You read that right. Orange FLAVORED chicken. Not orange chicken. It had a light citrusy taste and wasn’t too bad. — Chicken Chow Mein: YUUUUM. This might be my favorite of all the Chinese places we’ve tried in the area. It’s DELICIOUS. — Egg rolls: They were tasty even though they were like lukewarm. I bet when they’re hot they’re AMAZING. Quite a few of the pieces of chicken that I had in the chow mein or in the general tsao’s were rubbery or knotty. Bleck. Additionally, we were told our food wouldn’t be delivered for like an hour but it ended up taking only twenty minutes — bonus, always. In the future I don’t think they’ll be our first choice unless we’re strictly ordering chow mein, but if we’re in a tight spot and we’re reallyyyy craving Chinese, we’ll order from here again.

If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered lemon chicken, Fortune house rice, pot stickers, and hot and sour soup through 2Go Services, for a total of $ 55(which is pricey) and was told our food would be delivered in 60 mins. 1 hr and 20 mins later I called and they said it was on its way. 45 mins later I started to call again but they pulled in for my delivery. I took our food and didn’t say a word to the driver as I knew it was not his fault. We opened our food to find our lemon chicken, the only entrée we ordered, was missing the lemon sauce. I called 2Go Services and told them we wanted a full refund. They called the restaurant who proceeded to tell us that they knew it was in there, they remembered putting it in the bag. After my hubby and I looked through everything again we informed them it was not there. The restaurant then told 2Go Services to send another driver to get the lemon sauce. We told them we did not want the lemon sauce, that by the time it would get here all the food would be cold, they are in Kent and we are in Normandy Park, and we wanted a full refund. He proceeded to say the restaurant was closed so he would have to call them in the morning, or they could go pick up the lemon sauce. WHAT? If they are closed and you can’t then how can you get lemon sauce from them? I then told him I was on Google Maps looking at the restaurant’s listing and that it showed they were open still open. He got back on the phone with the restaurant who then said they would give us a full refund if we let them pick all the food back up. WHAT? Our food was 2+ hours getting to us and then we didn’t have our full order and they wanted us to send back what food we did have to get a full refund? What were they going to do with it? It had been in our house, riffled through, and they wanted us to repackage it and send it back to them to do what, serve to someone else? Needless to say we let them do just that as we weren’t about to give this restaurant our business. I own a business and if I treated my clients this way I would be out of business. 2Go Services was just as at fault as they were willing to let the restaurant treat their client like this and they outright lied saying the restaurant was closed so they wouldn’t have to take the time to deal with this. HORRIBLEHORRIBLE customer service on both sides. We order a TON of delivery food as we both work a lot. We were excited when we received our first 2Go Services magazine today in the newspaper as we were ready to try a new Chinese restaurant that had lemon chicken. I also am an event planner and refer a lot of restaurants for catering events. We didn’t mind paying the $ 8.50 delivery fee for the convenience. Fortune Seafood Restaurant and 2Go Services just lost what would have been an excellent client had they done the right thing.

Absolutely some of the worst Chinese food I have tasted. Super bland fried rice and watery hot & sour soup. Super rude on the phone. Excessive delivery time. Avoid this place!!!

I just ordered delivery from this place and the boss was super rude on the phone!!! I told her what my order was, then asked my mom if she wanted anything for a SECOND& she said, «oh tell your mom to figure out what she wants and call me back!» I wasn’t going to tip the driver, but it’s not his fault that his boss is that way. He told me that she’s always like that towards her customers and especially the employees.

Another americanized imitation chinese spot. Ingredients –appear to be the lowest grade of sysco product(meaning even mickey d’s, won’t use it in their own brand named spots…)

We came in as a group of five on Christmas Eve, and had a delightful dinner! First off, the tables are big and round, but that makes dinner a great time, because they use a glass table top on top of a lazy susan to create a spinning center to the table where everything but your plate and drink sits. No need to ask for the tea or whichever food item has found its way to the other side of the table, just spin it around! We got so much food for about $ 55, and we left with extra! We got fried rice, broccoli and beef, the honey walnut glazed prawns, general tso’s chicken, and cashew chicken. The soup that comes before the food is pretty good, but the cashew chicken(which seemed to lack actual cashews) was what caught my attention. The pieces of zucchini were huge and cooked to perfection, not too soggy. The honey walnut prawns were also fantastic, I kept being swatted at for stealing all the walnuts, they’re roasted and delightful. The general tso’s chicken wasn’t spicy, but it was still good, as well as the broccoli beef and fried rice. I would definitely return!

My family comes as much as possible for the Chinese set-menu — not the fried rice and orange chicken menu, but the oyster stone pot or bitter melon with black bean sauce and beef menu. The food is always good and the portion-to-price ratio is very reasonable. Soup’s always hot, the fried chicken wings are always perfect, and everything is well cooked and fresh. The owner will always tell us which vegetables are fresh and they always deliver, especially the pea vines with garlic. Totally a go-to spot, but doesn’t look it. Whether it be more traditional Chinese food, or the more Americanized kind(both delicious!), Fortune is worth the drive from Seattle. :)

First time ordering from here. Customer service on the phone was awesome in spite of the very slight need for me to repeat myself. I ordered the cashew chicken and garlic beef, both no vegetables, chicken fried rice and 3 sides of white rice. All the portions were amazing size for the price. The delivery time was faster than quoted, clocking in at about 15 minutes sooner. The quality of the food is great. The fried rice and white rice were perfectly cooked. The cashew chicken was very tasty, though not in a sauce I expected.(I assumed it would be hoison sauce.) As for the garlic beef, it was moist, tender, and very flavorful but not something I liked as much as I thought I would. Overall, very impressed with the service and quality.

I’ve been here a couple times in the last month and each time it is the same. No change in scenery which is pretty drab with the old style light blue paint job and the food here is nothing to write home about. The location itself makes me feel unsafe as there is a dive bar right next door playing loud music which can be heard all the way in the parking lot and the clientele hanging outside isn’t the savviest. Each time the only consistent item I have enjoyed are the black bean clams. They have that down pat as the sauce is great with the clams and by the end of the meal I just want more of them. We have also had crab both times and for some reason it has been a letdown. The crab shouldn’t be deep fried which they have cooked the same way both times. It just doesn’t have that crab taste once it is deep fried and taste kind of bland even though we added some hot spices this time around. The barbequed duck on the other hand was better this time plus we tried the barbequed pork for the first time and it wasn’t bad even though I can tell some pieces seem to have been sitting around for awhile once it has that dark colored meat. Veggies here are seasoned nice and they have a good wok taste which I enjoy. Service here is pretty good as we constantly had our bone plates changed out very often and the hostess/server is always busy since she is the only one who is constantly working the front end of the restaurant. The restaurant stays busy with all the people ordering take-out or having it delivered which I don’t see very often from Chinese places. I surely wouldn’t come here if it I wasn’t with my family as it is a kind of ghetto area and it is just a bit too far from where I live to come here on a consistent basis. Otherwise, the food isn’t too bad, but just not good enough to give it more than three stars.

This place is wonderful for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all times in between! The owners put so much effort into creating a good eating experience for their customers. I’ve seen them on multiple occasions picking out the bad parts of the vegetables just to make sure each dish is perfectly made for their customers. Their food is sold at an extremely low price considering how much time and consideration they put into each dish, so it’s affordable by everyone. They give such huge portions every time that we always have to take the rest home! Their delivery service is excellent as well. Whenever my company has a potluck, we order their fried salt and pepper chicken every time and it’s always the first dish finished. They always deliver on time if not earlier and the food is always hot and fresh every time. The staff is always on hand to make sure everything is perfect for your meal and they’re very friendly to everyone. I don’t think any other Chinese restaurant can best this one! Their food is always fresh and delicious and I love every single dish I’ve tried so far.

The food here is incredible! Let me start by saying I am an EXTREMELY picky eater. Especially when it comes to Asian food of any kind. We’ve been regulars at another place in the area for a while and while I liked their food, it was not my favorite by a long shot. After we found this place, we refuse to order from the other. The egg rolls and gyoza are divine. By far the best I’ve had in this state. I always order the Chicken Chow Mien and it is always delicious. I will never order it from any other place, ever again. My husband orders the House Special Chow Mien and House Special Wonton Soup and looked like he was going to have an orgasm the first time he tried both. The service is wonderful. They’re friendly and fast.(I’ve only ever ordered pick-up or delivery, never eaten in the restaurant.) I went in to pick-up an online order and the lady seated me at a table as it wasn’t quite ready yet. She brought me a glass of water and made me feel comfortable while waiting. Needless to say, this is definitely my favorite Asian restaurant in Washington State. 10⁄10 will always eat here again. :)

We have lived in Kent for many years now and have tried several Chinese food restaurants. This restaurant is the best we’ve ever had. The service is excellent and the food is very fresh and so good! The portions are generous and the price is very reasonable. This is our new Chinese Restaurant! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

We ended up getting cream cheese rangoons, egg rolls, pork fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, broccoli beef, schechuan beef, orange chicken, wonton soup, and sweet and sour soup. Reviewed in order of tastiness. ORANGECHICKEN: Perfect breading. Fresh, sweet, and citrusy orange sauce. Tastes and smells like fresh fragrant oranges. Complete with very small orange slices in the dish BROCCOLIBEEF: The broccoli was cooked to perfection. It was tender but with some crunch to it. The beef was just a bit overdone, but not enough that most people would notice. This also had a lot of oyster sauce which I love but some people may find overpowering. SCHECHUANBEEF: The beef was perfectly tender, the sauce spot on, and the vegetables perfect, tender but with crunch. WONTONSOUP: Fresh, tasty, light. Perfect. SWEETANDSOURCHICKEN: The breading was perfect and it was not mostly breading. PORKFRIEDRICE, EGGROLLS, CREAMCHEESERANGOONS: These were all meh. Tastes like anything you could buy from the freezer section at your local supermarket. SWEETANDSOURSOUP: I was not a fan. With a slew of ingredients, it still was rather tasteless. NOTES: Huge portions for individual entrees. When ordering a dinner special, the entrée of your choice makes up very little of your meal.
