I love Dairy Queen. I just wish that I could love this location. The premise of an ice cream shop is that you have readily available ice cream. This location has soft serve machines that are not working and dispense ice cream that is not firm. The employees complain about it, so the owner should know it’s an issue. Additionally this location has the world’s slowest drive thru. Sometimes I go into the restaurant, just to avoid waiting in the drive thru. When you go inside you’ll see they have only two or three people working, even though there’s a line inside the restaurant and a line at the drive-through. McDonald’s can take my order and have me out of the drive thru in less than two minutes why can’t Dairy Queen? It appears that this location is short staffing the restaurants in is not fixing their ice cream machines. They’ve done a nice job remodeling the place and making it look nice. Now they need to make it work properly.

Went through the drive-through tonight with my daughter who is not feeling well and they were quick and made our blizzards super thick and yummy! French fries were hot too. Everything was fast! Have always had great experiences at this location. I get my ice cream cakes here too.

We love Dairy Queen but this location is horrible. We ordered a brownie batter blizzard and received a partially melted mess that had chunks of peanut butter in it. I know there is some risk with peanut allergies going to a place like this but seriously it wasn’t like a small amount from the last blizzard made. I’m hoping that we just got the wrong blizzard. I’ll never go back to this location.

So sad, all the tables are dirty, long wait for food, out of French fries(who runs out of fries!) and then we were charged extra to substitute onion rings even though we ordered a meal that came with fries! Guess we will not be coming back

There was an eyelash in my boyfriend’s blizzard AND they don’t have Midnight Truffle anymore. Dairy Queen has me all the way fucked up.

Terrible. Filthy, unfriendly, slow and sloppy. I wish I could give this DQ location negative stars! It’s the worst fast food place I have ever been to. The employees are rude, the place is a mess and the drive through takes forever. We had an issue with our order and we couldn’t get anywhere with them on a resolution. We decided to just never come back again and to make sure to write a review to keep others from making the same mistake!

I love DQ, but this location is not good. The ice cream is already half melted when you get it and whenever I complain the staff is defensive about it. I won’t go here anymore.

Very disappointing. We love Dairy Queen, and still do… but no longer the Kent location. Our order was completely wrong and in varying stages of over/under cooked. With the price tag weighing in at $ 22 I guess I just expect a little more. We always try to give a restaurant a freebie, maybe even two, because everyone has an off day. Unfortunately, this is just one too many times. Eating out is only an occasional treat for us and I certainly won’t be wasting it at this location again.

I love Dairy Queen. A lot. But this location really isn’t that great. A friend and I went through the drive-thru to get mini Blizzards and when we got them, the consistency wasn’t good — they were practically melted! The flavor was great and mine had lots of cookie dough, but I wasn’t too please that I had to rush through eating it before it melted into a liquid state. Blizzards are supposed to be solid and you can turn them upside down and they won’t spill. There was no chance of that happening with these! Maybe this was a one time thing… but it was definitely disappointing. We’ll have to see what happens the next time I go back.

Wow! Want to know what the«TREAT» is at the Dairy Queen in Kent? You got it, bad service and non exist ant food handling skills. Nothing like seeing someone handle money and a dirty till and then hand you a spoon with their bare hands… that’s right… on the spoon part… not the handle. GROSS!!! I don’t want to even think of what health code violations are going on where people can’t see if the employees are doing this right in front of customers. Last straw. I wont be going back. Half melted ice cream is just not worth it.

Shake wasn’t blended well. Icey and thick at the bottom. Nothing«royal» about it. I got jipped. A friend of mine got stale and old expired ive cream from here. Yuck.

The local DQ for my family. Countless Blizzards have been devoured form this place. I like to try different things and so have had most all the flavors. Cannot pick a favorite. My wife’s birthday is in July so she gets an ice cream cake. Swear to God, I heard Angels sing when they announce the Blizzard cake. As long as they make

I came here to get my boyfriend a blizzard because he’s never had one. I recall getting blizzards and they are thick and creamy. We ordered a mini Snickers blizzard and the consistency was already melted. It wasn’t the thick and frozen delicacy that I’ve had before. I was hugely disappointed. However, I’m giving another star for their ice cream cakes which are pure ice cream and sold for a good price.

I’m trying to imagine why DQ would sell anything other than ice cream products. Sure, you have a burger. Ok, so you have hot dogs. But are they Blizzard Burgers? No? Ok then. DQ, you and IHOP are in the same boat. You’re known for certain products. You’re famous because of what you do best. I can’t turn my chili cheese hot dog upside down in a period of frozen stasis that makes a young child’s eyes wider than if he were seeing a Christmas miracle. But I can do it to a Blizzard. Have I had the food? Nope. Will I ever get the food? Never. But what I will do is continue to engross myself in the flavorful arctic blast of delicious morsel that is a Blizzard. Because that’s what I trust. I trust you, DQ. And our relationship is based on that trust. Now, this particular location is generally pretty clean. I’ll often find a wet floor sign just in front of glassed area after you walk in. Like almost every time. Just right there. It’s like those five or six tiles need need some kind of floor intervention to get their lives together. The staff is relatively attentive. The conversation amongst themselves may sometimes veer into the unprofessional, but it’s an extremely open area and its difficult to have that«away from customer conversation» that you hope they didn’t…ah crap. I will hand it to this DQ as their Blizzards are thoroughly mixed. As Blizzards should be. I like my Blizzards super interracial. See what I did there? So all in all, if you pass by this particular Dairy Queen, don’t worry. They’ll make it right and let you make it however your twisted regressed to first grade glue-eating, marker-sniffing mind can think of. Because this is America. And I can get my burgers on Fourth of July. But my Blizzards… Well…

Home of the delicious, customizeable ice cream treat that you can turn upside down. For the record, I take my blizzard with Snickers, Reese’s, and Hershey’s syrup. I’ve had so-so service here in the past, but have had great experiences lately. Where else can you get good, greasy food, and then chase it down with a variety of sweet, creamy goodness? …ok… maybe more places than Dairy Queen… but this is a good bet for getting your money’s worth.

I’m not sure if I should start with the overpriced fast food, bad service or the dirty seating. The staff seemed to be comprised of high school aged drop outs who had no idea how to multi-task or really how to single task. It took the guy at the register forever to take the order of the person in front of us. Simple ice cream order that the then had to explain to the gum chewing girl in back 3 times. He took our order and we needed to correct him twice to get it right. 2 burger & fries(nothing special) 2 drinks and 2 ice creams for after lunch 18 bucks… kind of a rip off for mediocre food. After waiting forever for our food it was finally ready and somewhat cold but we were not going to wait again. We also had to ask for napkins since the one lone dispenser was empty and our table was dirty along with all the rest. So overall I would love to give this zero stars but I guess one should suffice.

I have not been to Dairy Queen in I don’t even know how long. We happened to be near one today around lunch time and I knew that I had to go there. When I was little and growing up in Phoenix, AZ, they had Dairy Queens. My mom was pregnant with my sister and when she was getting close to popping her doctor told her to take some walks to loosen things up I guess. So in the evenings we would walk to Dairy Queen as a family and I was so excited. Flash forward to now. I’m lactose intolerant and couldn’t even have ice cream anymore. So why I really wanted to go here had nothing to do with ice cream. I just wanted to be able to say that I have eaten at a Dairy Queen recently. I had a regular cheese burger with fries. Just a good olé classic burger and delicious fries.
