We offer the most flexible preschool classes and tutoring sessions in the Seattle area. You only pay for the classes your child goes to, unlike other learning center that require you to pay per month.

Our preschool program saves your family money while still giving your child the knowledge and experience to easily transition to kindergarten.

Our modern learning center is located in Kent Washington, 5 minutes from ShoWare and Kent Commons. We have a small library/​break area for children to play, a spacious reading/​singing room, and a art/​writing room with lots of sunlight and sweeping views of the city. It’s definitely a great environment to prepare children for kindergarten.

The tuition is $ 5 per 45min preschool class and $ 7 per 50min K-​6 session. Free classes are available for new parents who are interested to try out our learning program. Check out our website for details and register online today!

Basic Steps Learning Center is different from daycare centers and many learning programs. Our primary goal is flexibility for parents and their young children. We provide a safe, fun environment with the highest quality education at the most affordable price.

Business Owner

Basic Steps Learning Center was established in July 2012. The first 2 classes we successfully opened were the art/​science class and the reading/​singing class at Kent Commons in the fall of 2012. After gaining the support from many parents, we then opened our learning center in January 2013. Our classes now are held at our school located in Plaza by the Green, a retail plaza 5 minutes from Kent Commons and ShoWare Center in downtown Kent, Washington. We started with about 15 kids in the program and now we have over 50 children attending different classes from 8:30am to 5:10pm.
