A Pet Clinic of Kent

Tonight I came in for the first time with my Yorkie who was way overdue for his rabies shot (bad owner I know) and a nail trim. Since this was out first visit, his exam was free! The nail trim and rabies shot came out to only $ 20 and the services was quick, thorough, and my dog did not have an allergic reaction to the shot although I was glad the vet warned us of potential side effects and solutions.
The office itself is small and not fancy which why the prices are probably low. But that’s great for me! I don’t care about the size of décor as long as service is good, affordable, and my pets come out better than when they came in.
We will be coming back here in a few weeks to get my dogs teeth cleaned (the only concern that came out of the exam) as he had never had a professional teeth cleaning and has tartar bundling up. We were quoted for a very reasonable price so I’m looking forward to getting this done and having my dog be happy and healthy without spending a crazy amount of money!
After that I’ll add another review and if all goes well I’ll be having my other dog do her shots and teeth cleaning there as well.
Tip: on the website and on Unilocal their open hours are late but if they do not have appointments they may close early. Always call ahead to verify their hours or their availability.

I had an emergency visit and they were able to help me right away. I called before they opened and they were gracious enough to answer the phone and agree to see me within the next hour. Unfortunately for me, I had to put my best friend down. I was a mess and made a scene, but they were professional, friendly, and very informative. I would recommend Dr. Nagra to anyone needing a veterinarian.
Update: This place is great. Both times I have had to go in on an emergency basis and he’s always answered the phone for me after-​hours and squeezed me in for the same day. During my last visit I explained to the Dr. that I had been seeing a different vet and went over what they have done for me and it turned out that they had misdiagnosed my dog. He has mange. The other vet did a scraping and did not find anything but when I brought him in here they took the time to scrape multiple areas of his body and not only confirmed that he does have mites but let me examine them under the microscope to see for myself as well. I really appreciate his hard work and that he takes the time to go over all the information and possibilities before sending me on my way. He’s extremely helpful. I cannot thank him enough for everything. I will continue to bring my dogs here and recommend him to other people as well!

It was about time I gave dr. Nagra a review. He is seriously the best vet I ever went to. Great staff, good prices, and very compassionate vet.

Been going here for dental care, shots, eye problems, and even clipping my dogs nails.
Especially when my dog had to get some teeth removed. I would of spend about 2k at some regular vet, but here it was only $ 800. I’m not kidding you guys. You NEED to come here! Best prices and the best vet.

This pet clinic deserves a five-​star. From helpful front desk staff to Dr. Nagra, he is the go to guy! Very knowledgeable, nice and sweet.
Last week we brought our puppy «Bambi», a miniature pinscher to get his first exam, Dr. Nagra saw him for FREE! Yes, fweeeeeee99! No charge for the first exam, so awesome! Then today, we brought him in for his combo shots and an oral shot, bill came out to be $ 14/​shot, not bad at all! Forget all those fancy schmancy pet hospitals where they charge an arm and a leg, come support the local hospital lol.

We first met Dr. Nagra when our cat had a weekend emergency. Because we were new patients the cost for treatment was minimal. After having 2 disastrous experiences with a vet we have depended upon for 15 years, we transferred our pet’s records to A Pet Clinic. I appreciate most his explanation to a layperson of care that is needed, and that he is not pushy in his recommended care. I know that he will help us manage our pets declining years in a caring and professional manner.

I REALLY like this pet clinic. I have had my pets (a dog and three cats) cared for at another vet’s office… until I found this vet. I had my dog’s teeth cleaned and my regular place asked to have a comprehensive exam on my dog, prior to having his teeth cleaned, which I never understood, because I have him on a plan and he has comprehensive exams every 6 months and he had one two months before I requested the cleaning. I called this office and they gave me an appointment for the next day! I asked if he needed to do a comprehensive exam first and he said he would do it upon arrival. He not only did an amazing cleaning job, but he honored a coupon for $ 99 (my usual place wanted $ 220), and my dog was ready in about 3 hours. I have canceled my «preventative care plan» at the other place and will be moving my animals to this office. You will not be disappointed.

Highly recommend this vet. They have low prices and a friendly staff! Dr. Nagra is a great doctor and last year when my mini dachshund started to have back problems due to a slipped disk, he was able to take me in last minute. He did a thorough examination and suggested strict crate rest for two weeks. He also told me to have him on pain meds as well. After two weeks, my dog did good and he was able to walk normal. The great part was that my exam was free since I was a new patient.
I just got back today from giving my dog Bo his vaccinations and I’m still satisfied with this place! :)

We cannot say enough good about Dr Nagra. He was compassionate and professional. He walked us through everything he needed to do for our dog. Unfortunately our pup was to sick to save but I will always be greatfull for the treatment she received on her last day. It seems bad to talk about money but his cost was low and care was high.

WOW!!! This is how basic health maintenance should be. Went in to make an appointment for our Rosie to get current on shots. Told me they had an opening an hour later. I returned at the scheduled time and she was taken in, weighed, examined, and I was asked a few questions about her basic health. How did her stools look, any fleas, etc. Dr. Nagra did not try to upsell me anything. Something her previous vet always did. We were done in less than 15 minutes.
Then I went to pay. What a pleasant surprise. I thought they made a mistake. It was very reasonable. I will highly recommend to others who ask me.

I went there and only had to wait 10 minutes. The front desk person was kind. The vet was also kind and professional. I like that it is a small, not overly busy place that has a low overhead. The cost was minimal.

They saw my dog late Saturday a half hour after I called and as a new patient I had only to pay for the antibiotics my dog required. I was impressed with the care and concern both Dr. Sukhjinder and his staff showed for my dog Nike.

We’ve been taking our puppy pitty Blu here since we got him a month ago (8weeks old) My husband is very pleased with the service here. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

I recently moved to Kent when my dog began to exhibit strange behaviors. He wouldn’t eat and was throwing up a lot. I used Unilocal to find a vet. Being Sunday, I was limited. Fortunately, Dr. Nagra was available and saw Frank right away. He took such good care of Frank, and Frank’s people! He didn’t do anything drastic, only what was necessary. Dr. Nagra explained what was happening and what needed to be done in a very professional and compassionate manner. I will continue to bring Frank to see Dr. Nagra.

We’ve been bringing our dog here since we first rescued her almost two years ago. Dr Nagra is very knowledgeable, kind and not pushy. We recently needed to take her in for GI upset and he was very willing to try home management first instead of automatically wanting to run pricey tests and blood work. I am very confident in his care of our pup and know that he and his team will do a good job. The only thing they can continue to work on is the cleanliness of the exam rooms. I feel that they don’t get a good clean in-​between patients.

Dr. Nagra is a very kind and compassionate vet. I like the fact that he does all of the care needed for the animal from start to finish. Most vet clinics have techs that do teeth cleaning, nail trims, vaccinations etc. But Dr. Nagra does all of it and you get very top notch work. For example, I took my dog in for a teeth cleaning and Dr. Nagra not only cleaned my dogs teeth but he also took the time to do an impeccable job cleaning my dogs ears which he didn’t even charge me extra for. But it’s the little extra things he does and the quality in which he does it that makes him stand out.
Dr. Nagra is very conscientious and does excellent quality work and I think you would be pleased as well.

2015 update — I wanted to add more to my review that I posted in 2014 to let you know I’ve have even more positive experiences with Dr. Nagra since that time. There are many examples of above and beyond care that he provides but one recent example stands out for me that I wanted to share with you.
At 7 pm on a Saturday night my pitbull ingested something toxic that caused her to vomit and shake all over and lose control of her hind legs. I panicked and knew our family could not afford Access ²⁴⁄₇ emergency care so I called Dr. Nagra knowing he would answer his phone. In 10 minutes he met me at his clinic and provided immediate care for our dog staying with her until 11 pm providing IV fluids and charcoal and other necessary things. The next day he called and said he would like to keep her until Noon so that he can feed her to make sure she has an appetite and from there she can return home. At 1 pm the next day I went to pick up my dog and she was happy and good as new. Dr. Nagra even gave her a much needed nail trim at no charge. I felt so relieved my dog was on the mend and for all the medical attention she received I was charged only $ 550. Had I gone to ²⁴⁄₇ emergency care I could never have escaped for less than $ 2500 for an overnight stay with iv fluids, meds and monitoring.
Dr. Nagra is a ONE IN A MILLION vet who will take outstanding care of your animals at a price that is more than affordable considering all he does for your pet for the price. You can’t go wrong because there is NO UPCHARGING ever.

I’ve brought all my animals, specifically cats to this vet and they’ve always taken good care of my pets. Very nice people and a good value.

Small, modest office with small, modest prices and a small, polite staff.
Had our cat neutered here. All was handled quickly and quietly at very reasonable cost. Clinic very basic and no-​frills, but if that keeps prices down, I’m all for it.
The Dr. mentioned he was just starting to build up the business so things still fairly quiet — not sure if it was there under other management previously — but we plan to bring our cat back for shots soon.
*Able to get in for neutering the day after we called for an appointment. At this point no appointment needed for shots, you just walk in.
Hoping the business grows so we have them as a lower-​cost option down the road!
5÷31÷13 Update: Vet clinic just called to follow up to be sure our cat was recuperating well. Extra brownie points!
