History

Established in 1979.

Welcome to Donut King! We have been in business since 1979, starting with just a Bakery, Donuts and Coffee. In the mid-1990’s, we expanded with a Grill to serve Hot Breakfast (All Day!), Sandwiches, Salads, Soups, and continue to grow with our customers. We also serve Espresso Drinks, Fresh Smoothies (made with real fruit, not other stuff), Pastries, Cakes, and Cookies. Sorry, we only have One Location. If you have any questions or concerns, it is that much easier to contact us!

We care for the Environment and the Health of our Customers, and try to continue to grow with everyone’s needs —

We run on 100% Wind Power;

We serve food on real dishes;

To-go containers are biodegradable/compostable;

We sell & bake with Milk w/no rBGH;

and, We strive to carry more natural drinks, the kinds I would rather my own kids drink.

Meet the Manager

Alina B.

Manager

My parents started this business after they moved here from Korea. I grew up sleeping on flour sacks, as they opened at 4am! Sometimes I worked the register before my nose could even reach the register — so I sat on a stool! Some customers were wary, so that position did not last long.

My mom still owns and primarily runs it. I am also a «stay at home mom» who never stays home, and is doing everything, including helping to run Donut King. I care about food, my kids, what they eat, and what our customers eat. I love to play with and experiment with foods, try different things, and push the limits on what to introduce to our customers!

We have recently partnered with my friends, and now also sell some of our prepared foods at the Team Eckenrode Gym!
