Business Owner

Founder and President of Branches Tree Experts, Michael Guercin is a licensed tree expert with more than 30 years in the industry. He is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certified arborist and holds a degree in forestry from West Virginia University. Guercin’s commitment to the environment goes beyond the realm of his business. In addition to active involvement in local industry groups, he is the co-founder of the Wisconsin Avenue Beautification Project, a revitalization effort in Northwest Washington D.C.

The workers were No Show twice. Nobody in charge. The work was done overall and they cleaned up after. But it took two days. First day they just left in the middle of the day and left the gate opened behind. I protected the plants around it with metal tables which they moved and broke few of my 4yo hydrangeas. Why moved the tables? — To protect the tables… — The tables were there as a protraction !!! — Then you should have moved the plants… What can I say. Plain Stupid. BTW Some of us do speak Spanish and most of the mean things you say I can understand. Would never use them again

Watch out for these guys! The cost to have a tree evaluated and trimmed is extreme, and the crew that was eventually sent to do a pruning job didn’t even follow accepted practices for proper trimming. Considering that they spent a grand total of 30 minutes on the property – and subtracting a healthy chunk for the arborist’s time – the rate for the crew worked out to be over $ 200.00 per person per hour!
I got fleeced.

when the man was a boy, he read the book — The Giving Tree.

where, in the book, a boy would play on the tree, eat fruit from the tree, and even talk to the tree. the tree loved the boy very much and over time, gave the boy everything of himself so that they boy could make money, build a house in which to live, and build a boat to sail away in, as the boy grew from a child into an old man.

by the end of the story, the tree was nothing but a stump that the boy, now an old man, sat upon to rest his weary, old butt.
the boy that read The Giving Tree grew into a man himself and lived in a house with his family that was surrounded by trees. as he looked out the window of his house and into the yard, he would look at the trees and think about The Giving Tree. then it struck him — trees are evil and must be destroyed!
so the man called Branches Tree Experts and they said they could destroy the evil trees — and at a reasonable price. the man was not so foolish as to believe these so called ‘experts’ upon their first meeting, so he called around to other ‘experts’ in the area. turns out that Branches may claim to be ‘experts’, but they definitely gave the best price. so, with mighty chain saws in hand, the ‘experts’ came over to the man’s home — not once, not twice, but thrice times in order to fell the evil trees and created some very nice stumps for old men to sit their weary, old butts upon.
