Food was great as eat in or take out with owner/chef very friendly but not enough business in this small town. They have CLOSED.

Great Jamaican food. You can get a great pulled pork if you like spice, but there is plenty for kids. My kids love the crispy chicken(not spicy at all). The food is all fresh and flavorful. They are convenient if you are in Exeter(only 5 minutes away from downtown). Do not expect a fancy restaurant. It is casual dining with great food.

Great food and great people. Cool location too, with a convenience store attached. One stop shopping for great food to go and some beers to accompany. Go here and get the Jerkarito. Trust me.

Today we tried this wonderful location after purchasing a gift certificate. We though Jamaican food in Kensington? Well we loved it!!! The fish tacos were amazing. The fried fish was crispy and flavorful. The rice was seasoned to perfection. The short rib grilled cheese is a nice variation of a classic. To make it even better, the owners were very nice to speak with. Did I mention you can choose any beverage from the adjoining store including beer? Very convenient. Will be back again for sure. I need to try the jerk chicken!!!

What a great surprise! I can’t believe I just had amazing Jamaican food in Kensington, NH. We had the jerk chicken, pork and short-rib grilled cheese. Some of the best I have even had and I have traveled all over the US. Their plantains and fries were perfect as well. Very nice, friendly people to complete the trip. I will be back many times!

If you like funky, friendly food and atmosphere, you should check this place out. It’s kind of a hole-in-the-wall, but in my opinion, that’s where you find the best food. The owners were very friendly and willing to talk us through the menu. Both my partner and I got heaping plates of delicious Jamaican food. I was able to order vegetarian food off the menu(a big plus!) and my carnivorous boyfriend had LOTS to choose from. No curried goat yet, but they are planning to serve it in the future. Old-school reggae was playing in the background, and we were able to eat outside on the deck. They are going to have music on some Saturdays. Look for them on Facebook for those dates. Very enjoyable. We will be back!

My son and I were here a month ago and loved it! I got married and have been to Jamaica several times. It is the best of the island –people and food. It is spicy and well balanced. I had pork and the chicken was juicy and crispy. Portions are huge. The place is very kid friendly and it is BYOB. I can’t wait for summer time BBQ outside!

When I was checking Unilocal for Boogalow’s hours, I noticed a café listed for the same address. Confused, I called Boogalow’s. They are still there. :-) It turns out there are three businesses at this address: Kensington Grocery, Boogalow’s, and Country Brook Café. Boogalow’s is a wonderfully friendly, casual, small restaurant. Just so you know… That said, I ordered a lunch plate of Jamacian jerk chicken with medium heat, rice & peas, and plantains. It was fantastic! Yum! Oh, and I also tried Ting, a grapefruit soft drink. It was very good. I really wanted to try a Red Stripe, but I had a lot of driving to do after lunch. I’ll try it some Saturday, when the weather is warmer and the DJ is there. The woman who owns Boogalow’s is very nice. I was grateful that she took the time to describe some of her dishes, which helped me in making a decision. I enjoyed talking with her. Next time I think I’ll try the short ribs, which aren’t Jamacian, but her husband is also a chef and she put them on the menu for him. They sound really good. I’ll be going back. Like I said, YUM.

Had dinner there last night, WOW!!! great food, the pork is to die for. It is small, 3 tables, but the owner and staff are very friendly. We had the Boston JA Jerk Pork, the Crispy Chicken and split an order of Jerk Chicken Wings. The wings had the right amount of heat, the pork was very spicy in a flavorful way, not hot, and the same goes for the chicken. We cannot wait to go back and work our way through the menu. The also have small batch ice cream incase you need a cooler after an order of wings. It will be one of our regular places to visit. I cannot wait go back.

There’s a JAMAICAN restaurant that is attached to the convenient store. There are a few tables inside and several places to sit outside. Put some DEET on! We started off with the Jamaican wings which were fall off the bone outstanding. They are not served with any dipping sauce nor do they need it. The short ribs were served with homemade parmesan fries. The portion was huge enough for 2 lunches. The Chicken was slow cooked and served with caramelized onions and rice. The jerk seasoning is guaranteed to be authentic but is quite different from other Jamaican places in the states. It’s more like homestyle cooking. The owner is born and raised in Jamaica and her husband/chef has years of experience in the kitchen. The service was very friendly and we’re excited to return.
