Established in 1994.

Our goal is to protect your health and your home from radon by installing the most effective radon mitigation systems possible. We’re experts in the field of radon mitigation, having been licensed to install reduction systems. Our main office is in Kenosha, Wisconsin, with satellite locations located throughout Wisconsin, Illinois — Peoria, Bloomington, Decatur, Champaign-​Urbana and the South Bend, Indiana area. We are members of the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (AARST).

All of our technicians adhere to the radon mitigation standards of NEHA, The National Environmental Health Agency, a branch of the EPA. In addition, our installers located in the state of Illinois adhere to the specialized licensing required by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) and have excellent standing within that Agency.

Karla N.

Business Owner

Karla Newman is the owner of Radon Remedy, LLC. She has been in the radon mitigation industry since 1994. Since then, serving the Midwest with information and eliminating the danger radon gas poses to everyone’s health has been her first priority. In 2000, she became president of Radon Remediation Company and renamed it Radon Remedy. She has years of experience and is happy to lead educational talks and workshops about radon reduction.
