Very disappointed. It started out bad when the server brought the wrong beer even though it was not at all busy. When we asked what the soup was today she stated«I think it is lentil something». The soup came as thick as chilli and when I couldn’t get our server’s attention to ask for a spoon I ate some with a fork. It was so bad I choose not to eat it. The pork belly nachos were not as good as we have had there previously. My side of coleslaw was totally without flavor and I choose not to eat that either. When the bill came there was charge for two additional beers that were even a different brand then ours. I doubt we will return.

Mike’s is our favorite place to start our date nights! One of the best steaks I’ve ever had and you cannot beat the fun and friendly atmosphere! We have been there 5 times in the past few months and every visit the service was amazing.

Amazing drinks — like the spiked root beer — and great, great service! Only reason I’m just giving 4 stars is because there’s nothing to eat if you don’t feel like meat and cheese and donuts.(Though all their meat, cheese, and Donuts are delish!)

Food is over priced. Especially for lunch! And watch out for the special drink prices!

Checked this place out after being drawn in by the Donuts and Chicken sign next door. Great old bar on first floor. Plenty of seating, plus an upstairs bar and huge outdoor deck. It was a bit chilly and drizzly when we were there, but I’ll bet it is a happening place when the weather is nice. We sat at the bar on the first floor and the bartender was quick with the beer and food menus offering suggestions right away. The first thing you notice are the hundreds of Jameson bottles behind the back bar. For $ 100 you can buy your own bottle and they hold it for you. When you come in, you can get shots or drinks made from your bottle. Kind of a cool idea, plus makes for good conversation. Also, there are a lot of tappers which are primarily Wisconsin brews. The beer list provides really good detailed descriptions and we tried a few. The lunch menu came from Mike’s Chicken & Donut bar and we loved the Spicy Chicken Wontons. I don’t get to Kenosha often, but I don’t think a future trip would be complete without a stop here.

We came with a group of 4 and sat outside on the deck! We had a great server, who knew the menu and had great recommendations! I had a mojito(one of there signature drinks) and it was delicious, with no shortage of alcohol in there either! We were told to try the nachos and stuffed mushrooms, which we did and they were awesome! Our group got entrees that included steak sandwiches and the cheese curd burger, and they were all cooked perfect and tasted great! Overall, awesome! We’ll be back!

This gem does things right! The cocktails offer a sense of vintageness which is always nice. The food is simply outstanding. I’d go as far as to say one of the best in Kenosha. For appetizer we had the cheese curd poutine with mushroom gravy sauce the sauce was a little bland however I’m not much of a fan of gravy so don’t take my word on that too much. My wife had the 10oz sirloin(which she is still raving about) with a baked potato, she was very underwhelmed by the baked potato’s plainness however we certainly didn’t dine at this restaurant for the baked potato. I had the Basil Alfredo w/Balsamic Reduction with seared scallops the balsamic was out of this world and scallops were seared to perfection and grilled asparagus was on point. Staff was extremely friendly out waitress did not offer the specials which I had originally meant to get which was a shark filet dish due to it being shark week and all however as soon as we sat down I completely forgot to ask and the waitress made no mention of it whatsoever but other then that she was a great waitress, drinks took a little long to come but not the waitress fault and she kept assuring us they would be up shortly that the bartender was a little behind for us to bare with her, so they were very friendly and attentive. Overall this place is simply one of the best places to dine in all of the Kenosha area great food, great drinks and great staff would recommend to everyone! Do note they are open Wednesday — Sunday and not open Monday and Tuesday also be sure to stop downstairs and try a few donuts at Mikes Chicken and Dounuts!

Updated my review to 5 stars after another stellar meal here. The rum scallops are outstanding, the Boursin stuffed mushrooms are great and the pulled pork belly sandwich is fantastic
