History

Established in 2014.

When we added a 3^rd dog to our family I realized that our dogs were not happy when they had to be separated while stating at a boarding facility. I felt in home pet sitting was going to be our best solution. After a long search to find the right service to fit our own needs, I decided this was a business I wanted to pursue. I have been pet sitting for friends and family since 2008 and have cared for dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, ferrets and other pocket pets. I spent 2013 preparing to open In Your Dog House Pet Sitting & Dog Walking, LLC and officially opened for business In November of 2014.

I have worked in service industries my entire career and have management background. I have had a passion for animals my entire life. I have been pet sitting for my neighbors and friends for years. I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, ferrets and other pocket pets. We currently have 3 Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs and cat. I decided to combine my love and experience caring for animals with my service/​management experience and start a business in an area I felt was under-​served in our community.
