History

Established in 2012.

The flood of 2010 in Kennesaw swept away one of my employee’s homes, cars and almost his mother. The devastation was widespread, and we wanted to help people save their property from further damage. But we didn’t have the training, tools or certifications we needed. I wanted to be sure that we were ready to help next time someone had a water or flood that needed cleanup, so I am now IICRC Flood Technician certified, and my company is also certified, as is my lead technician.

How did a homeschool mom and writer end up starting a water damage business? When we purchased the All-​Star Chem-​Dry franchise 9 years ago, I had no knowledge of the water damage techniques that we now employ. Using the best equipment and practices, it is exciting to me when we can help folks get their home or business back to normal quickly, with minimal expense in most cases.

One business was back up and opening on time by 11 a.m. the next day!

A Verizon store in Town Center Mall was able to be dried and open at noon on Sunday following a Saturday night water leak. That is amazing to me still!

Don’t fall for the «cut and gut» people who rip out as much as they can, so that they can make more money redoing your sheetrock and flooring. If it can be saved, it saves you time, money and trouble.
