Prime Rib was cold and the cut was very uneven. Ribeye was rare and not medium as ordered. It was masked in liquid smoke as if it had been grilled on a smoker of which is was not. Utensils… well they need new ones. The knives were dull and wouldn’t even cut the steaks. Don’t waste your money on this place.

Used to be my favorite steakhouse but here lately they seem to be slipping. Went there today to get the cowboy sirloin and was disappointed, it wasn’t cooked right and it was tough. Had similar experiences the last three times I was there, probably won’t be going back anytime soon. I hate it because it was always one of my favorite places to go. Hope they’re not cutting corners.

Haven’t eaten here in years. Went last night(not my decision). Then remembered why I haven’t been in years. The food is ok. It’s not terrible. But it is a throw back to the 80’s. Food and food quality has evolved over the years. This restaurant is stuck. Like many other chain restaurants. The décor is old, carpet worn. Very dated. It was crowded. It also looked like the majority of people were 65 and up. Too many good modern restaurants to go to for the same prices that are much better.

My wife and I love this place. We go once a week to dine, sometimes I will grab a beer at the bar and get the food to go. Our favorite Server is Thomas. Thomas always has a great attitude(it seems) or else he hides it well. Great service and food is what it’s all about. Nothing fancy here, just good damn food.

We are new to the area and almost didn’t go in because it looked like an old Ryan’s or a Sizzler. Checked the menu at the door and decided to try it. Sat in a booth by the bar, had a great waitress. We both ordered the ribeye, and it was great. We were pleasantly surprised and will go back.

We came in rite at 11:00 on a Tuesday. We were promptly greeted with a smiling face. Our server was fabulous with a positive attitude. Food was amazing! We would definitely comeback when in the area.

My wife and myself were in Kennesaw for the weekend and looking for something we can not get in our hometown and looked on Unilocal.I had heard of fellow workers going to Rafferty ‘s and they said it was good. And after reading Unilocal we decided to try. We very pleasantly pleased with the atmosphere, wait staff was very nice and prompt. The food was very good. The food was not cheap but it was worth the monies we spent. I will go back next time when I am in the area.

Place is ok. I eat here when co-workers want to go out. They love this place. I haven’t been impressed yet. I will most likely go again but only with the group from work sets it up.

Went here for lunch today and was highly disappointed. My husband had the marinated ribeye like he always does and it came out raw, not rare but raw. It wasn’t even warm and it was full of grizzle. I had the Salmon which was good but over cooked. Our waiter Alex never refilled our drinks and we only saw him twice, when he took our order and when he brought us the check. He asked if everything was ok and when we told him about the steak he said, «ok well you cut it up so we can’t cook it anymore». We got a to go box and paid and left. After eating at Rafferty for over 10 years now at this one and the one in Nashville I might not go back.

I would have given 5 stars, but they’ve just changed the menu and removed some items our family liked(fried shrimp, shrimp and grits). Aside from that, we’ve always liked it here. Steaks are good, chicken fingers are excellent, the Kona chicken, the salmon, and burgers, all great. Also, you really should try the hot bacon honey mustard salad dressing, it’s fantastic!

Patton said«if everybody’s thinking what I’m thinking then somebody’s not thinking.» That’s what I think when I see four stars for this place. It’s a chain. I get that. Expectations low already. But this place reduced my low expectations to nothing. Service at the bar was at best absent and cursory. The food bordered on the bad to I hope this won’t make me sick. The steak, advertised as well marbled, was a grizzly mess of mostly fat. Avoid this place

My husband and I have been there three time now on Sunday afternoons and I’m still loving it. The food portions are great and the option are even better. I recommend the stake which is the best.

Great food and service. I had the chicken finger salad with the house dressing which is honey mustard and hot bacon dressing. OMG! So good! The little croissant’s are heavenly. I’ve also had the French dip and fries. Which were also delicious.

I have gone here a few times for lunch during the week, and the food is mediocre, but it’s in an area surrounded by mediocre chain restaurants, so I was willing to cut them some slack. However, I went there yesterday for lunch and sat at the bar for five minutes without so much as a hello from the staff. There was no one behind the bar despite four other customers sitting there. No less than three employees(including one guy who looked to be a manager or supervisor) walked pass me without acknowledging I was even there. At least the chain places have decent customer service.

Often, I find myself apprehensive about returning to a restaurant I liked so much in fear of the second visit being a huge disappointment. We returned to Rafferty’s today, and took a great friend with us. Once again, we were welcomed and promptly introduced to our server, Talisa. We asked for the one we had last time, but was told her shift had just ended, however, she had not left yet and stopped by our table for a quick visit. Again, we ordered the Nutty Honey Butter Croissants, which were a hit with our guest, and for our entrees we ordered the Hickory Smoked Baby Back BBQ Ribs, the Cowboy Sirloin, and the New Orleans Style Shrimp & Grits. Once again, we could not of asked for anything to be more perfectly prepared! Expect us to be returning again someday!
