I’m helping a friend paint a mural for her son and future child’s playroom. We attempted Walmart to find paint, to no avail. We came here and hit the jackpot! There were two ladies working the paint counter, and were really helpful in helping us match exactly what we were looking for. We’ve been working with the paint for the past two weeks now, and this stuff is perfect. I’ll be glad to come back to this location for my own paint project in the not so distant future.

During the Summer months, I am often in the garden section of big box home stores buying more flowers, mulch and the occasional yard gnome or other unnecessary yard item. Lowes is no different when it comes to selection but this Lowes stands out because they have a large discount selection of dead or almost dead flowers. Always the optimist, I dig through the random 6 roller carts of half dead plants, promising them they’ll bloom and be green again! The weird thing is, these flowers, bushes, trees and hanging plants aren’t even dead or damaged but they’re all up to 90% off because, God forbid, they have a small amount of yellow and brown amongst their leafs or blooms! I enjoy a challenge and adopt as many as I can! $ 109.00 later and my cart is full and I feel better about saving a life! This location has a great lay out. The aisles are wider than its competition, there are more signs and directionals for those that get ADD upon entering, like myself. The garden selection flow is by far my favorite. You start with ground cover and move up to flowers, bushes, trees and back down to mulch and pea gravel. This is helpful if you’re just beginning or needing a little something extra for your over flowing yard. I come here almost every Saturday until college football returns and I love every second I spend finding more things I don’t need. There are some days I might as well walk in and just hand them my credit card. I always leave with a full cart, dirt on my hands and a smile on my face.

The store is laid very nicely. Very different from Home Depot, but I’m sure you already know that. All employees seem courteous and somewhat ready to help. I say that with hesitation because I have walked by numerous employees that don’t even say hello. But others have helped tremendously. The store is always quiet. Which is odd for a home improvement store. It’s very clean as well.
