History
Established in 2006.
Greedy Palates Gourmet, originally a company operating under the name of «Good Taste» began in a much smaller arena of food services, geared toward providing in home personal chef services, home health food consultations, fitness meal plans and/or facilitating smaller intimate party settings for 4 to 25 attendees.
In 2010 with a new name, face, reformed mission and set of goals, we expanded our vision and widened it’s scope of services to include commercial catering food services for events with up to 1000 guests.
Since our expansion, we have provided food services and/or event planning services for various school programs (Breakfast, Lunch, and After School Snacks), Summer Camps, Corporate Events, Public Vending Events, Public Fund Raising Events, Weddings, Birthday Events, Showers and Various Private Events.
Meet the Business Owner
Assata S.
Business Owner
Originally from Chicago IL by way of Minneapolis MN where I attended the University of MN for computer science, whereby becoming gainfully employed with IBM, and shortly thereafter transferred within the company to Atlanta GA.
Although computers & technology has always been a love of mine, I always felt I had missed the mark by suppressing early on my true passion and calling for the culinary arts to chase a more fiscally excepted path that yielded a lot more security, but no true satisfaction.
In 2004, I began to rediscover my love for cooking and enrolled in culinary school while still professionally working as an IT specialist. In 2006, I then began to transition my professional world by personal chefing and catering small and intimate events, and in 2010, after a major outsourcing of the corporate IT company I was currently working for, which in turn elliminated 200 jobs (mine being one of them), I decided to open Greedy Palates Gourmet as a commercially run catering company.
