Hello, my name is John Bearden. I am the founder and President of Coat O Color Painting, Inc. I am a marketing graduate from Kennesaw University and began painting full-​time in 1983. I have over 33 years of experience painting interiors and exteriors of: commercial buildings, industrial plants, and residential homes. I take great pride in my work and have always maintained quality control by working on or being involved with each job on a daily basis. I only hire qualified painters who maintain a good work ethic, take pride in their work, and are courteous and respectful of each and every customer. John Bearden is a true professional and painting artist. From our first call spending 20 minutes discussing paint types with me to our estimate where he provided a lengthy color consultation, John was always courteous, provides a true experts opinion and graciously wants the job without making you feel like you’re being «sold» on anything. He came to do an estimate late one night after work due to my schedule, and started the job not even 2 weeks later. He provided photo progress updates every day (I did not currently live in the house) and stayed in constant communication with me. The work he does is incredible. I am somewhat of a crazy person when it comes to clean lines and smooth walls, and the house I was moving into had many imperfections. John spent a lot of time not just getting the work done but doing it RIGHT. He also saved me from making a poor decision on my initial color choice and really guided me in the right direction. He really captured the vision of what I wanted and I have to tell you, it was worth every penny spent. If you are looking for a painter, this guy is the one to hire. John does all the work himself, so you know he takes a lot of pride in what he does. I could not recommend him more! Look no further!

Could not be more pleased. Coat O Color accommodated my very tight schedule. Job was done in 2 days and is spectacular. Husband and I are both very pleased with John’s crew work and attention to detail. I usually get three or four quotes for work. With John I felt comfortable and definitely chose right ! Would highly recommend and will use John again!

Extremely Satisfied — great work!!!
We met with John, the owner, to go over some of our ideas for a few accent walls and to repaint our staircase. His knowledge and advice was very helpful and helped us to make the right decision for our home. John has a great attention to detail and found and fixed some things that I didn’t see. He did amazing work smoothing out all of the imperfections and painting the walls. He put in a long day to get the job done and it turned out better than our expectations!!! John does great work and he will be the only painter I ever call. Thanks for making our interior look amazing John!

I selected Coat O’color painting at random from the yellow pages, and I could not be happier with the job they did. The owner John Bearden does the work himself with one other man, George. The quality of the painting they do is excellent, but what impressed me most was their attention to the small details. They went over and above what I expected from them, and far more than what most other companies would do. They take pride in their work and truly want the customer to be happy– as shown when I changed my mind on the color for the bathroom when it was almost done, and they painted it again with a new color that I love!
They are trustworthy, dependable and it was a pleasure to have such friendly people working in my home. Such outstanding customer service and quality workmanship at a very reasonable and fair price is hard to come by. I feel very lucky that I chose them for the job (repairing/​painting ceiling damage from leaking roof, staining deck, painting exterior doors/​shutters, and painting bathroom) and I would highly recommend Coat O’color Painting to anyone.
