I can only vouch for the Seafood Phở and there Strawberry Boba tea. Both are good and decently priced. It was a weekly lunch spot for me.

Just finished a delightful lunch here. The name has changed and the restaurant is under new management. It’s called«Phở’s. Sunrise» now. The place was very clean with a relaxed atmosphere. Kirsten, my server was very attentive and friendly as she helped me through the authentic menu. I don’t know what the place was like before, but now the service was great. Both native speakers plus Kirsten kept checking up on me to make sure I was enjoying my meal. I started with two orders of the shrimp and beef spring rolls. The reports are correct — they were fantastic. I then moved on to a bowel of the phở. It was very good and the portion was huge. I am stuffed and the price was very reasonable. As my first report on Unilocal,I’m giving this great little find a strong recommendation.

Good phở and great sweet tea! The food is pretty good, although I only had the Phở Tai. The place is clear, unlike some of the Phở restaurants I have been to. I plain to visit this place the next time I’m in Kenner and want some Phở.

My lunch here the other day kind of blew my mind. It was *that* incredible. The interior is not much to write home about, but you come to these types of places for the food, and the food only, making it a great spot for lunch or a low key dinner. Bring an appetite. It’s cheap, delicious and the portions are huge. A visit to a Vietnamese restaurant isn’t complete without one of my favorite things in the world to eat and that’s veggie spring rolls. Phở T&Q’s are 2 to an order and 2.95. Insane, right? They are standard, served up with the sauces that make ‘em as spicy/salty/tasty as you wish. I also had a vat, I mean a giant bowl, of vermicelli noodles with lemongrass tofu. This is the only vegetarian entrée on the menu that I could find, but seriously, it’s the only entrée I’d ever need. One of the things I love most about Vietnamese food is how clean and fresh everything is. A dish like this is begging for you to dress it up with peanut sauce, spicy black bean sauce, Sri Racha and soy sauce. It’s like salad and a noodle dish all in one glorious bowl. They don’t skimp on the tofu, either. Great to know this place is here for when I decide to return to one of those hellacious car dealerships to finally purchase a damn car. At least I can seek solace in a spring rolls and a giant bowl of noodles and salad.

This place serves some good food!!! Setting: It is ok once you are inside. From the outside the place always looks empty and dark inside. The interior lacks a little personal touch. Service: Friendly. The kitchen, though, does take longer over here than at most of the other vietnamese places. I am almost always the first customer of the day because I come between 10:00 — 10:15am. My food usually takes 12 – 15 minutes to get out to me where at other places it takes 4 – 6 minutes when I am the only one in the restaurant. Food: The phở here is very good. Some of the best phở in the area. The bun dishes are very good too. They have an extensive menu here from pressed vermicelli to bun to bubble teas. If you love phở this is one of the top three places in the city for hearty authentic phở.

Had our second great meal there today. Egg rolls were again incredible. Pork with rice was amazing, savory with a hint of sweet spice. Fried rice was slightly charred and nutty, loved the smoky flavor. Service is attentive though some may find communication a little challenging. Definitely worth the money!

Having lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, and having spent a few months in Vietnam, I won’t hesitate to write a negative review for disappointing Vietnamese restaurants. I discovered Phở T & Q while driving from the NOLA airport, intending to visit another restaurant. Swerving into the parking lot to give inconspicuous T & Q a try turned out to be a good decision. On my first visit, I tried the«special» bahn mi(sandwich), spring rolls, and iced coffee with condensed milk. While these dishes were not off the beaten path, the items were fresh, flavorful, and worth ordering again. The second time I returned, I ordered bahn xeo(pork and shrimp crêpe) and a shrimp and crab soup with clear noodles. The amount of pork and shrimp inside the crêpe was sparse, but I did not think that the flavor suffered. The crêpe was accompanied by a generous serving of pickled vegetables, basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, jalapeño peppers, and romaine lettuce for wrapping. The crêpe itself was fried just right and had a subtle and delicious coconut milk undertone. As for the shrimp and crab soup, the broth was light and not overly-salty, and the sprinkling of fried onions added a complimentary flavor that worked. My criticism of the soup is that the menu simply read«crab,» leading me to believe that it was real crab meat, but it turned it to be imitation crab. I ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee once again. I do not know what brand of coffee they use, but it is robust while at the same time refreshing. As another reviewer mentioned below, the server was indeed rushed, but she was attentive. This is a casual site, so I was not expecting 5-star service, and that part of the experience will definitely not prevent me from returning again.

I’ve been to Phở T & Q three times. The first time I ate here was opening week. They were still trying to get in the groove. The second time I came was about a week after and things seemed settled down. The third time-today– they’ve been open about three months. I noticed a trend through all three visits. One– the waitress(same woman all three times) rushes the process. We sit down to immediately be asked what we’d like to drink. Two– for all this rushing there’s quite a bit of down time in between the items actually getting out. Here’s what we got: Appetizer– Banh Xeo & Cha Gio(these were free!) Hubby– Seafood Dumpling Soup Moi– Bun Thit Nuong The ban xeo came to the table as we were about to pay. This happened all three times. My bun thit nuong was quick but each time I went I kept forgetting just how fatty the meat is. Like super fatty. It was well seasoned though. They weren’t stingy with the vermicelli either. Vermicelli galore. Which in my book is alway a plus. My hubby’s said his soup was just right with the meat to noodles ratio and my two year old enjoyed it as well. The service was good other than being rush to order. They are okay with children and don’t mind at all when said children make a mess with phở.(:o sorry) They have a much larger menu than Phở Bang. Much more authentic platters. And they make Boba Teas. All in all, we will definitely be back.

Cheap, good, good ingredients, good meats, meat to noodle ratio was good, white pepper was available. We’d probably go back to the more reliable and consistent Phở Bang down the street before coming back here. Still, a solid addition to the phở scene in NO.

I really enjoyed the beef, tripe and tendon phở here. They have all your condiments on the table for you so I didn’t have to ask for extra fish sauce. As mentioned earlier, the broth is a little sweet, but a bit of fish sauce works fine. I also tried their vermicelli with shrimp and egg roll. While it was really good, there were only 4 shrimp on the plate. So if you are really into shrimp, just get the shrimp without the eggroll. But the eggroll was really good. The prices are pretty good and the service is efficient. Parking can be tough since it’s in a strip-mall off Veterans.

This restaurant hit the city of Kenner a few months ago but don’t think for a second that they are new to the business. Combined experiences would put them with at least 20 years! With that said, to me, their food are exceptional! The one thing that never let’s me down is the mi xao mem or don(stir fried or deep fried egg noodles). Their banh mi(Vietnamese sandwiches) aren’t bad either! However, their Phở is a little sweet for my tasting. Needless to say, I frequent here quite a lot.

This is a good Vietnamese restaurant with a pretty good selection of different dishes on the menu. There is a selection of bubble teas but they have regular, and not my preferred jasmine, iced tea. They have many different versions of phở and offer a seafood version which is nice. This is probably my least favorite tasting chicken phở along the Vets Blvd(it isn’t bad it just isn’t as good as the other places) but it is also probably the cheapest(probably about $ 3 cheaper than other spots) so that makes it a great value!

Very clean restaurant… it’s much bigger than what it looks like from the outside. Prices are a little high for a Vietnamese restaurant, but decent. I had their banh mi ga roti(shredded rotisserie chicken poboy), which was about $ 4. Very good flavor and lots of meat… they definitely loaded it on there. Fresh crisp cilantro, julienne carrots and cucumbers top off the banh mi… very filling but not over the top. Their eggrolls are decent too. Just like how my momma makes ‘em, except my momma of course makes it better. Bo luc lac(sauteed cubed beef)… I’ve had better, but it’s okay here. The broth that comes with this dish is delish with rice. Fresh and clean. Mi xao bo(soft egg noodles with sauteed veggies and beef) is one of my favorites. Lots of flavor and really too much to eat in one sitting. You will bust at the seams if you eat this whole dish. Their bubble teas are decent. I’ve had better at Frosty’s Caffe, but it’s stil decent here. Other people with me have had their phở, they’ve said it’s good/decent. I hope this business stays open.
