This is only one of few places open at 5am at the airport. I got salad sandwich and coffe. Came out to $ 12 Coffe was barely worm. Got my order ready in less then few minutes. They understand importants of quick turn around since many people in rush.

Decent enough airport breakfast. $ 7 for an egg, meat, cheese bagel. For meat you can choose bacon, ham, sausage, and a few other choices. I got bacon and my husband got sausage. Both were good but the meat was definitely a grease fest. The bagel was a little tough. I’d grab a bite here again though. They only had a few other breakfast options, but they had a lot of wrap and salad options for lunch. They also had fruit and yogurt parfait, fresh fruit, juices, waters, and other snacks at the front of line. There was a long line, but they moved fast. Plus the food is better and cheaper than what you’re going to get on a plane.

My husband and I stopped here for a quick bite to eat while waiting for our flight. The middle-aged woman at the register was very nice and was working her tail off. The same cannot be said for the younger woman behind the counter — she may as well have not even been working that day because she did nothing the entire time we waited. It was lunch time and pretty busy — about 10 or so people in line. The older lady took orders/money and prepared/packaged food while the younger one wandered around behind the counter aimlessly with a deer in the headlights look. I literally watched her wipe down the same section of counter 5+ times. She would come out to the front to refill her own drink, go back behind the counter and dig around in her purse for awhile, wipe down a random area of counter for a few seconds, go get a drink, wipe down said counter again, pick up the Saran Wrap and move it 3 inches to the left, etc. All the while, there is a single person taking orders, preparing food(literally cooking the bananas for bananas foster cheesecake), packaging food, and taking money. It was the most inefficient display I’ve ever seen and it took FOREVER. This entire time another lady(possibly the manager?) was refilling the cheesecake supply — she either didn’t notice or didn’t care that only 1 of 2 people were actually doing their jobs that day. It was mind blowing. Food was mediocre at best. They were out of two of the four wraps on the menu and the kitchen staff in the back seemed to be in no hurry to replenish them. Apparently they were also out of the sauces that come on the wraps, because we were both given ranch(or something that resembled ranch) instead. Not bad on the ham and cheese(which was supposed to come with honey mustard) but it was not good on the Thai shrimp(which was supposed to come with a peanut vinaigrette). Definitely our first and LAST time eating at this place!

I’m going to assume that the feedback previously left on Unilocal has been reviewed and addressed by management. Unfortunately they may have gone a tad too far in the other direction. Not only was I immediately addressed upon walking up but the sweet woman working the counter called me by name at least 12 times during my brief visit. Now we only ordered a plain bagel. Nothing on it. Plain. We had to wait a good 10 minutes for it. Did I mention it was plain? The woman in the back preparing the food didn’t seem too happy. I imagine it’s tough having to knead the dough, roll it out, shape it and all while customers wait for it to rise. I mean what else could she have been doing back there? A plain bagel… that’s all. Throw it in a bag and let’s go!

The bacon and egg bagel was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had. The cream cheese and spices made for a flavorful kick. The service was a little slow and the price was slightly high even by airport standards or it wold have received five stars.

The bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast bagel was very greasy — obviously the bacon would be, but the bagel itself barely stayed in my hands. Price and flavor-wise, it was one of the more reasonable options at the airport though. I had a side of grits(it IS New Orleans, after all!) and the cheese smelled so bad I almost threw up. It literally smelled like BO. I don’t understand. Definitely do not recommend it. After reading other reviews, I decided not to get any of the cheesecake. It looked good so it was tempting, though!

Stopped by for cheesecake with no one in line, and was ignored by three people before one of them finally acknowledged me. Got the turtle cheesecake. The cheesecake itself was okay. The toppings along with it made it better. These are really like cheesecake sundaes. I should’ve gotten a regular size. The large was two servings worth.

Not many to-go choices in Terminal D. All of them are pretty bad, so get something to eat before you enter the terminal, if possible. If you are unfortunately already stuck in the terminal and don’t have time for a sit down meal, I recommend Cheesecake Scoop for a quick bite. They have ready-made wraps and salads. The Shrimp Louis sandwich was good. I was worried about the quality of shrimp, but it was fine. They didn’t give me enough salad dressing — which looks like a thick thousand island. I suppose they are better known for their unique way of serving cheescake — scooped and served into a cup. The idea is cool, but I have yet to try it.

I tried to eat healthy my entire time in NOLA and only slipped a couple of times. But then my flight was delayed two hours so I was bored and hungry in the airport and then Cheesecake Scoop happened to me. Walking by the first time, I was able to resist temptation. But after awhile, the pull of the cheesecake became too strong and I couldn’t resist, so I went back and got a small scoop. When taking that first bite, I was hoping the skies would part, the sun would shine and the angels would sing as I blew my diet but instead, after finishing the dish, I could only think«Is that all there is?» The quality of the cheesecake was not great. The texture was not creamy at all, it was rather dry and flaky. It wasn’t too sweet, which I like and the whipped cream on top was good. However, all in all it was just okay. If I’d known then what I know now, I probably would not have eaten it.

I’m flying out of terminal D today and the choices were slim to eat. Boy was I happy I chose the cheesecake scoop café. I had the ham and Gouda sandwich on a pretzel roll. It was fantastic! The pretzel roll was warm and soft, the ham and cheese was fresh and tasty. Surprisingly, this was a great lunch!

Just had the best bacon egg and cheese breakfast bagel sandwich of my life! Who knew airport food could taste like that! They used a sweeter bacon and smoked gouda. Amazing!

4 stars for the Thai Chicken Salad! After a binger of a weekend in NOLA this is exactly what my body needed before boarding the plane… greens that are actually enjoyable to eat. The salad came with a ginger/Thai peanut dressing, a sweet chili sauce that had a perfect amount of kick for dipping the chicken in and a small side of pickled cucumbers. I’ve never raved about airport food before but I was super impressed and shocked to get such a quality salad.

Got the turkey caprese sandwich and damn! I am impressed it was well worth the $ 10… I’m gonna look for this place in LA, but I doubt I will be so lucky

All the food options in D terminal are horrifically bad. This is not much better than the rest. I got to the terminal a little before 5am and nothing was open. Not even a coffee stand. This was the first place to open so I went for a sausage egg and cheese bagel and a cup of coffee for a stupid $ 11 and change. The bagels had so much grease on it I had to take the whole thing apart and pat it down — it was vile. Never eat here if you value your stomach.

Cold premade sandwiches for about $ 9 a piece with no sides. MSY airport post security has you trapped with limited food options. The terminals are not connected, so if you’re in D, then you’re staying in D for your dining experience. Experiencing a 4 hour delay on a recent day, I found myself with limited choices to feed the family. Basically it was this place or the chicken shack close to security. For the privilege of consuming 4 cold wraps, I shelled out $ 50. This is downright robbery in a town that boasts such fine dining establishments. My suggestion is that you AVOID the airport and eat outside before your flight. Even a carryout option from somewhere is better than eating here. Also, as a side note: No decent coffee shops either in the terminal

Way too sweet for me, but points for creativity on the concept. This place is part of the Copeland’s platform, so the quality is good. The to-go container was pretty handy to bring onto the plane for some fun dessert for the family while passing time during the flight.

The concept of this place speaks to the former fat boy that I was. Cheesecake scooped into a bowl, which makes it easy to eat while walking with no mess. They have some good flavors, so be sure to try as many as you want. I selected the white chocolate strawberry cheesecake and it was delicious!

Two words describe my experience at this New Orleans Airport establishment, and that’s cheesecake and muffaletta! Lines were not too long and counter service was decent. I got the praline cheesecake scoop, which was just caramely, nutty, sweet, yummy goodness! I also had the muffaletta, which was small for the price of $ 10, but still very good and very filling. I thoroughly enjoyed both of these and highly recommend this place.

Great airport food??? Crazy!!! I loved my ham and gouda on pretzel. Awesome. Not too expensive either. $ 9 isn’t bad for a fancy airport sandwich. big fan and I will definitely eat there next time I am in Terminal B.

Another pleasant surprise from the renovations at MSY. Found this at the end of Concourse D. Ordered scrabbled eggs, bacon, and grits. Came out quick and hot. Wasn’t bad at all. On par with what you’d get at a regular diner in the city. Add a coffee and bottled water and the bill came to $ 12.50. Airport prices. Had a nice looking selection of desserts(lot of cheesecake slices), but was too early in the morning for something that looked that sweet.
