First experience having a warm lobster roll with butter. Don’t be turned away by the notion of eating from a food truck. Better than most restaurants at a fraction of the price. Fresh locally caught seafood makes this an all around must try. Awesome!

Incredible gem and a must do pit stop if you are leaving Maine. Great rolls/fries plus excellent service. Will be sure to visit again. 5 minutes off 95, truck is always in the same spot.

It was cold, so we ate in the car on our drive back down to Boston from Bailey Island. I had to have some more seafood before we left, and I hadn’t yet had clam strips on our trip. Hubs had the lobster roll. The lobster roll(hot and buttered) was the best lobster roll we’d had of the 4 different lobster rolls we tried on our lobster-vacation. Clam strips and large shrimp box was the bomb, with the homemade tartar sauce. Skip the packaged cocktail and tartar. Coleslaw was fresh and delicious. I was sad the fries were frozen, as everything else was top notch.

AMAZINGFOOD! I ordered the clam strips and they turned out to be the best I have ever eaten. I’m a tough critic when it comes to food, and this place did not disappoint. The lobster roll was very good, but the clam strips were the best! If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely be making a stop at the cute little food truck on the side of the road!

Fresh sweet lobster rolls as expected from a quality restaurant in Maine. The warm lobster roll with butter dripped with delicious sweet butter and warm lobster meat fresh and also sweet. The cold lobster roll was seasoned with a small amount of mayo and celery salt. Both delicious. The Maine shrimp were battered and fried in clean oil that did not overpower the freshness and taste of the shrimp. The portions are generous and worth the seemingly high price tag. Lunch for 5 including an ordinary hamburger was $ 70. The seating is limited so we enjoyed lunch leaning against our car.

Made this the last stop before heading back to CT. We enjoyed a lobster roll and crab cake. After we were finished devouring the food, we looked to find the lobster traps as we swear the lobster was just pulled from the ocean. If you’re looking for an amazing lobster roll, look no further than the intersection of Ross Road and Route 1(Kennebunk).

Yummy!!! Best lobster roll I’ve ever had hands down. Big juicy chunks of delectable knuckle and claw meat, finely minced celery, just the right amount of seasoning, and a perfectly toasted and buttered roll… this sandwich was minimum mayo and maximum meat, mmmmm. My boyfriend had the 50⁄50 burger, which is half beef half bacon. It is a good idea in theory but in execution it’s not all that great. The bacon mixed into the patty makes it overly fatty and chewy. My boyfriend and I think the bacon should have been cooked first and then added to the top so it could retain it’s crispiness. There were lots of locals eating here, which I took to be a good sign. Service was very friendly but sort of slow. However, everything is super fresh and worth the wait.

Whoa! Looks are deceiving. This red & white truck w it’s theater bulbs brightness parked on an immaculate patch of green w red picnic tables is so colorful & inviting. But, apparently it does a lot of seafood frying so um, perhaps regular oil changes? Old oil ruins fresh seafood & anything else for that matter. It was wholly apparent that the oil was old when we bit into our whole belly clams. They were soggy, not crunchy, or even tender on the inside. And the Kraft soybean tarter sauce? Yuk. It’s sooo much easier & cost effective to make your own from scratch. We were disappointed. Perhaps it was an off night–

I’ve been hearing about this place for years. That it’s the best. Coming from California I was really excited to eat here. I am really disappointed and I guess the quality went down. The lobster rolls were just ok. They came out soggy and the bun broke and was slimy and mushy. The meat was good. But I would expect Maine fresh lobster. The French fries were old and moldy tasting. I think they were previously frozen. The clam cakes are mostly bread crumbs, extremely dry and came to us burnt. We ordered the fish chowder and it was not included in our bag– we paid for it but I guess they forgot it. So three orders of French fries and clam cakes to the trash. No fish chowder and average lobster rolls. Not worth it at all. We spent 80 dollars(5 rolls) — Save your money.

Just stopped by after reading the raving reviews. We ordered both lobster rolls, cold w/mayo and hot w/melted butter. Both were delicious but the hot was my favorite. The fried clam strips were also very good and you get a lot of them. My son had the shrimp box they were perfectly cooked and had a nice light batter. The service was fast and they’re very friendly! We’d come back again for sure if we’re ever back this way again.

Fresh, delicious and generous serving of lobster in this wonderful lobster roll. I got the hot with butter and was incredibly satisfied. Worth the $ 14 price. Did I mention the heaping amount of juicy lobster in the buttery bun? Run don’t walk to this truck! They have some picnic tables set up for outdoor dining.

The lobster roll was delicious, very fresh and flavorful; I got the lobster mixed with the slightest bit of mayo, and served in a toasted hot dog roll with a sprinkling of diced celery on top. Crisp celery gave a great contrasting crunch with the tender lobster. I’ve had tons of lobster rolls, both locally and away, and this was one of the best. Some rolls have lobster that lack flavor or are tough/chewy. This lobster was absolutely fresh. Husband had the swordfish sandwich, and loved it. Even the cole slaw tasted homemade. Only a couple of picnic tables, so you may need to take to park, beach or home to eat.

The best lobster rolls in the Kennebunk’s. You can get them either hot or cold. I prefer hot w butter. Also, great deal, 2 for $ 25. Highly recommend fried clams as well.
