History

Established in 2003.

Photographer Robert Akers began his professional career in 2003 and in 4 years became Maine Photographer of the Year and President of the Maine Professional Photographers Association. Since then Robert Akers has continued to win more awards and satisfy more clients with his work. Most clients would describe their sessions as fun and relaxing. The results are beautiful and the memories will last a lifetime.

Photography has always be part of my life. I bought my first SLR in Jr. High School with money earned from working at a grocery store. 25 years later it became my profession and I wanted to be great at it. So Education and Experience became my focus. I photographed everyone who would stand still long enough for me to focus on. This combined with meeting and studying with many of the best portrait photographers in the country, has allowed me to grow and take my place among the elite photographers in Maine and New England. My goal is always to give every client the most beautiful Portrait I can. So I will continue to learn, work and give everyone who steps in front of my camera an experience and portrait that will last a lifetime.
