Staff here are pretty friendly. That’s a pleasant surprise for a grocery store. It’s not my go-to market but the closest one around so that’s convenient. I appreciate their small bakery in the morning for something basic and quick. The Starbucks inside is also convenient, if you like Starbucks. They have a decent selection of flowers and plants, if you’re in a pinch. Their deli is so-so but it’s there. All in all, they have everything, although it’s not on a larger or more qualitative scale but still very convenient if you don’t care.

I have to say it’s worth it to drive four extra miles just to get plastic bags. Paper and plastic. Plastic and paper, please. I reuse those plastic bags 10,000 times. Okay, okay – pardon the hyperbole. Like, if we stop using plastic bags, the glaciers won’t melt and we can stop global warming in its tracks. Yeah, right. Gimme a break! I love the nice drive out here. Very well stocked by veteran Safeway employees who know what they’re doing and never let any issue go unchecked. Today I came out here for the soda special, $ 12 for three 12-packs. The same 12 packs are $ 18.50 each in Kotzebue Alaska. No bull. Love it, I love my Safeway, baby, and yeah, I’m brand loyal, like all intelligent people.

People are very nice, but lines are always long, they need to hire more people as that is the only store around.

Gross! Seriously just disgusting. Dirtiest store I’ve ever been in. Do you guys ever wash the floor!!! Also I’d like to mention the fact that they have obvious drug addicts running around in here.

Honestly this is probably one of the worst safe ways I’ve been to. I’ve been to a lot of safeways so I expected consistency when it came to FRESH food. Here’s the thing, all of their baked goods and bread expire the next day. Ones that I buy at the Bellevue Safeway last me at least a week or two, sometimes more. Also their produce is awful. Especially their salad. all of them expire THENEXTDAY. And they’re usually sold out of the product I want. I usually see lots of empty spots here. Their isles are also bad, I had to get cereal and the one that I wanted was on the very top(unshoppable-bad retail) shelf and it also was not stocked to the front so it was all the way in the back. No staff is ever around so I couldn’t get it unfortunately. I’m giving two stars because the people here aren’t as sketchy as the lynnwood one for instance, and the cashier people are fairly nice not super friendly but not awful. And this is a newer Safeway so it’s nice. But as for food selection, horrible. Which is weird because you’d expect that at a grocery store.

I recently shopped here and 3 of the 5 things I purchased were incorrectly priced(i paid more than the posted price in every case). A 60% pricing inaccuracy seems pretty suspect and is a pretty sketchy business strategy. I’ve been shopping at the Bothell Fred Meyer for over 7 years and I’ve maybe seen 1 or two pricing inaccuracies ever! It cant be that hard to get it right.

After waiting around to get my lunch for about 20 minutes standing there while employes walked right past me I went to get something else and was followed the whole time by a manager. I walked up to self checkout, PAYED then was told I wasn’t allowed back in the store because I appeared to be with 2 kids(both a lot younger than me) who stole things. The manger(Mike) also told me that I walked around the store trying to get away with what I had in my hand. If that’s how a manger treats customers I have no idea how this place gets business I will never be going back and will tell everyone I know not too as well.

Apparently they get butt hurt if you park in their parking lot

It’s sad that stores in my hood suck but some do and this one takes the prize for sucking the most. I’m a big fan of good costumer service this Safeway seems to go out of it’s way to piss on ever costumer that walks in its door. The staff loves to talk and talk and talk, guess what I love pay and go, so talk the blue haired old ladies another time. Asking staff question hell I would rather wrestle a grizzle bear a naked with both arms behind my back. My worst trip I had to pick up medicine that my doctor had faxed over there when I arrived to pick it up 2 hours later they had not even started on it. I had to wait in the store for 45 minutes with a 102 temp, F that. Now rite aid is my drug store.

Sad unhappy employees, with an unfriendly uncaring attitude. But I guess if I had to work at Safeway I would not be thrilled either. Talked to the manager about Safeway Diet Cola Soda, that they are always out of, rows and rows of lime soda, and never any Diet Cola Soda, none in the back ever. The new Bothell store is a short drive from this dump and its a much more pleasant experience and worth the drive to always find what I need. Management seems not to care about this store, dirty parking lot and empty shelves.

It’s Safeway. Need I say more? The store is nice and big, clean, and i do like that this location has a gas station. The location is convenient, right off the highway. There’s a small starbucks inside, too. I’d highly recommend bringing your own bags, as every time I go there, i get a zillion plastic bags and i’m always afraid they’ll rip.

Kenmore has two grocery stores. This store and a Gross Out.(Grocery Outlet) The selection here is much better, the prices are frankly about the same. They have a deli with typical deli stuff for when you don’t want to prepare your own food. I tend to shop late at night so I appreciate the fact that this store is open 24 hours. Some of the late night checkers(aka stock people) were definitely hired for their stocking ability not for their customer service skills. The day time checkers are good. Overall a pretty average Safeway

I thought I had something insightful to share about this Safeway. but alas, I don’t. It’s kinda like other Safeways. We were able to get meat, bell peppers, portobello mushrooms, tomatoes, etc for our BBQ needs. And Chobani Greek yogurt was on sale for a buck each last weekend. Yay.

I come here more for gas than shopping. I am used to the store in Juanita and this is almost a mirror image, but I always get lost here.

I have been inducted into«Safeway Club Elite» status. not sure how I feel about that — but it does mean I score .10cents off each and every time I pump at their gas stations along with some other perks… which is nice. That is how much I shop here.

Customer Service desk experience was humiliating. I had a voucher and was instructed previously to take it to the Custome Service station first. I did that, and the woman who was there was cold and rude. I’m still a human even though times are tough. I’ve worked very hard for decades and have paid real estate taxes on multiple proprties. I’m getting some of what I paid in during this time of need. But even if I wasn’t able to work hard for so long, I don’t deserve to be treated with disrespect. Safeway is usually very polite and helpful. But this Safeway needs to regroup if this is happening at all.

This is where I do most of my grocery shopping, and there’s a reason for that. It’s got a good selection, it’s nearly always very neat, the prices are reasonable, and the service is generally quite polite.(Just shop during the day. It’s a 24-hour store, but shopping at night can be an adventure, as it is in many grocery stores — boxes all over the place left by folks restocking the shelves, and a «ring bell for service» checkout system where there isn’t always someone in range to hear the bell.)

The consistently the cheapest gas in the area. The process of getting you discount is annoyingly long and the buttons on the pumps suck. But I guess you get what you pay for.

A decent sized Safeway. Generally well run grocery store. The parking lot can get a little overloaded. The plaza includes a Rite Aid, Liquor Store(recent addition), and Safeway gas station — nice combo. Also a pizza place I have never had food from. BECU atm inside, and a B of A atm just north.

I love spending time in here after purchasing my London Fog latte from Starbucks(inside) and sip while contemplating my grocery items for our next meal. I have to stock up on certain items so my child does not go hungry. Continuously feeding a teenager is a neverending saga of my life. Service and staff are friendly. Just a quick jaunt from my place off BG trail. Great location too to purchase quality gasoline.
