History

Established in 1973.

In 1996 Raymond Vetter retired and his two sons Bob and Ray Vetter, along with Jim Lapczynski, took over ownership of the company. Bob, Jim, and Ray have all been with V&J for over 20 years. Having come through the ranks, they’ve developed an intricate working knowledge of all aspects of the plastering trade. From being on the job site with the rest of the team, in the office, or discussing and reviewing the plans with the architects — they dedicate themselves to every project.

Job Description: The organization and direction of plaster and all jobsite activities including subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and client nominated representatives;

* Establish and implement schedules, methods, manning charts, material and equipment requirements;

* Control all jobsite expenditures for labour equipment, material and services and ensure that field operations are within the budget;

* Ensure project schedule and milestones are achieved;

* Plan and establish procedures in order to ensure that all operations meet designs and specifications as well as ensure that corporate policies and procedures are fully implemented;

* Maintain client relationships and participate in contracts and subcontracts negotiations;

* Direct the development and implementation of a training program for subordinate personnel as well as the overall project safety programs and ensure strict adherence to federal and national safety codes.
