Jiffy Lube

So my husband took our car in for a free oil change because they were offering free oil change for veterans on veterans day. I called in the morning to confirm that this location was offering this deal and they said yes. My husband went in with his ID and asked for the free oil change they stated oh its only for a certain kind oil but your car needs a different kind which unfortunately isnt free, ok fine we need the oil change so just go ahead and do the oil change. That then turned into the employee hounding my husband about all this extra crap they recommended and were trying to sell, my husband stated several times just the oil change but the employee kept pushing and finally convinced him to do a package which several times the employee stated was going to be seventy something. In the end my husband ended up paying $ 166 for a bunch of extra crap we didn’t want. I get it, most car places are always trying to sell extra stuff so they can get money, but its really shitty of you guys to take advantage of veterans day to try and lure veterans by offering a free service or discounts and then hounding them until they pay for a bunch of extra shit they don’t want in the first place. So yeah jiffy lube thanks, we will not be returning and will let everyone we know not to go there.

Careful! There’s some questionable activities here. We brought our truck in for a routine oil change. No problems with the vehicle. The mechanic informed us that there was a transmission leak and if we brought the truck back on the weekend, when it was just his manager and him, he could fix it for us for $ 200. Now we have a leak that leaves a mess on the drive every day when there was nothing there before. Seems fishy to me and you can bet we won’t be going back for our $ 200 fix or another oil change either.
