This entire office was the ultimate best! I was in for a second opinion on my daughter and I got all of my questions answered and his bedside manner was the best! So glad I switched to this office, and Dr. Terk will be her new pediatrician. My daughter talked about how nice and kind he was the rest of the night! That says ALOT!!!

In reply to the comment regarding vaccinations: It is my commitment to my patients and their parents to provide high-quality evidence-based medicine and take as much time as needed to answer questions about any aspect of recommended care including vaccines. That is why getting vaccinated according recommended schedule is considered essential at Cook Children’s Keller. But I do not apologize for doing what’s necessary to protect every patient in this practice; allowing patients who are unvaccinated to remain in my practice endangers the lives of other medically fragile patients(newborns, cancer patients, heart defect patients, immune deficiency patients). My goal is to help parents raise healthy, medically sound and thriving children.

I used to nanny for a non-native family and this was their pediatrician. The office staff were friendly and welcoming, but Dr. Terk has no bedside manner. He was short and it seemed like he did the minimal amount just to get the appointment over with. He seemed put out to have to explain things to my boss(it’s not like there was a language barrier or she was incompetent) and he wasn’t super patient. I’m not discounting his knowledge or expertise, but I’d rather go to a doctor who is patient and makes me feel like my child and I are important. Especially when it comes to their health.
