Stomp Music School

Our school offers piano, guitar, bass, drum, violin, cello, brass, voice, songwriting and music theory lessons.

We are one of the few schools in this area to offer Music Together®, an internationally recognized pre-​k music program for children newborn to 5 years old. This program is also taught at TCU as a foundational music program for children.

Our fully equipped recording studio allows for recording demos and full albums as well as lessons in recording, sound production and Pro Tools.

We provide:

History

Established in 2008.

Stomp Music School was founded by Jason Nolen who had a vision for creating a music school with highly trained and experienced teachers in every instrument. He believes in teaching students the fundamentals in music theory, reading and technique as well as helping students learn the style of music the brings them the most enjoyment.

Stomp Music School is a thriving and growing school in the Keller area because of the quality of teachers Jason hires as well as the vision and structure he and his teachers implement.

Meet the Business Owner

Jason N.

Business Owner

Owner, Jason Nolen, has been teaching guitar, piano and singing (voice) lessons in Fort Worth, Keller, Southlake, Watauga, Roanoke, Trophy Club, and the surrounding area for 8 years.

Jason began piano lessons at the age of 5 in North Richland Hills, saxophone lessons at Southlake Carroll at the age of 12, guitar lessons in Keller at the age of 13, was a member of band, choir, and theater at Southlake Carroll High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Music from The University of Texas at Austin and also studied and performed at the University of Paris, France. Jason’s senior thesis was a study involving artificial intelligence and music composition.

Jason worked with internationally renouned sound engineer and composer Russel Pinkston at the University of Texas. He was written/​cowritten over 300 songs and has recorded with more than 200 artists.
